We made it to TROG 2022 !!
Finished up the 27 Roadster and drove it onto the beac h of Wildwood NJ
The Race of Gentlemen 2022 held in Wildwood New Jersey is a Prewar Era inspired race on the beach on the jersey shore.

This video gives me some level of hope for the future of Vintage Motorsports! You'd need to be almost 90 years old to have raced one of those cars or motorcycles back when they were new. But, contrary to the myths that circulate in the vintage racing world that "...people only want to race the vehicles they raced when they were young..." the TROG event shows that younger people, who have a passion for this "era" of racing are very much still interested in these cars/motorcycles, even though they never personally raced them back in the day. The current enthusiast look to be totally into the history and have enthusiasm for the vehicles of days long gone by. That just looks like a fun, nostalgic race day on the beach in NJ! I hope I could be there in 2023! Great Video "This Old Hotrod"! I really enjoyed it!

Hi Mike and Alli from here in theUK. Sorry to see the event was cancelled which is understandable. I’ve been following the build all along and at least hopefully everyone kept safe and you got to make the best of a bad deal weather wise. Keep up the great content . Thanks John ! I appreciate the good words. Ya we were bummed but there’s always the next event. Looking forward to putting some miles on the T and enjoying it. The event being cancelled saves me from tearing the car back down to clean the sand out. So that’s a plus 👍🏼
