My mother was singing this @ work @ Goodner's Variety Store in Jupiter FL when CAROLE KING was shopping there at the same time, My mom didn't believe it was her at first until Carole belted out the song and my mom's jaw dropped. Needless to say she helped Carole pick out a gift bag and the experience was amazing. True story.
I love this song, I love Carol King... My generation: Carol, Laura Nyro, Joni Mitchell, Janis Ian, Barbra, Blood Sweat & Tears, Santana, Stevie, Gladys, Aretha, Donna, Diana, Tina, Janis, Dusty.....
June 17, 1971 - Carole King went to No.1 on the US album chart with ‘Tapestry’ for the first of 15 consecutive weeks. The album contained “It's Too Late”, “I Feel the Earth Move”, “Will You Love Me Tomorrow’’ and “You've Got a Friend”.
I am introducing my Granddaughter Ava, to Carol tonight and she just heard this Amazing song and is grooving to the music and said she would be great to have around, and fun to be with, she is Awesome! So, Carol, your legacy will carry on, you've got a friend.
I love her live performances. They're always superb in my opinion. By the way, that is Eric Johnson in the back with the Les Paul. He's another phenomenal world-class musician.
I feel the earth move under my feet I feel the sky tumbling down I feel my heart start to trembling Whenever you're around Ooh, baby, when I see your face Mellow as the month of May Oh, darling, I can't stand it When you look at me that way I feel the earth move under my feet I feel the sky tumbling down I feel my heart start to trembling Whenever you're around Ooo, darling, when you're near me And you tenderly call my name I know that my emotions Are something I just can't tame I've just got to have you, baby, uh huh huh uh huh huh yeah I feel the earth move under my feet I feel the sky tumbling down, a'tumbling down I feel the earth move under my feet I feel the sky tumbling down, a'tumbling down I just lose control Down to my very soul I get hot and cold, all over, all over, all over, all over I feel the earth move under my feet I feel the sky tumbling down, a'tumbling down I feel the earth move under my feet I feel the sky tumbling down, a'tumbling down, A'tumbling down, a'tumbling down, a'tumbling down, a'tumbling down, tumbling down!
Awesome version of a fantastic song! I like the extra more punch the song gets from this band! However, Carole does look a bit on the nerdy side in this performance! lol! BTW, I recognize the guitar player & piano player, but can't think of their names. Anyone know who was in her backup band for this performance?
Congratulations o Carole King. She is going to be Decorated at The Kennedy Center Honors in 2015 along with Cicely Tyson, George Lucas, Rita Moreno and Conductor Seji Ozawa. Did any of you see The Movie Grace Of My Heart which in My Opinion loosely based on the life of Carole King.
Her vest is totally button wrong. Hee hee! I love Carole king! The younger generation should know amazing song writers & icons like Carole King! She didn't have a perfect voice that's what made her so amazing! You can actually sing her songs! AND THEY HAVE SUBSTANCE!
Shakes me wakes me, this song.Theshimmering quality of your voice sung right from a very special gutsy place. Is so believably good and you that you make me feel that I can have everything too.
Sorry, you are most likely delusional. Carole King just happened to be and become a great performing artist - at the heart of it, she is primarily an incredibly talented and creative original songwriter.
I love it when Chicago has the brass instruments playing in their band or the Steve Miller Band too. I love guitars too but I really enjoyed the sax in this. I love the different varieties of instruments in music. I will check out that video
I really felt it in my East Village NYC apartment. I took my dog and we stood in my front door frame... we watched all the doors rattle on my floor. We survived the NYC Earthquake of 2011... now it's time for a dirty Martini (or 2), "shaken" not stirred. LOL!

Arguably one of the most important female musicians of the last 50 years. Enormously talented.
I love this song, I love Carol King... My generation: Carol, Laura Nyro, Joni Mitchell, Janis Ian, Barbra, Blood Sweat & Tears, Santana, Stevie, Gladys, Aretha, Donna, Diana, Tina, Janis, Dusty.....
Carol King is an amazing singer songwriter she has written some of the best known songs written in the last 100 years
THAT is how you lead a live band - and her pitch is dead-on-precise during that very difficult ending. WOW.
Carole king commanded the stage go lady rockers!
This woman puts out nothing but classics.
I love how much she gets into it. Such a Brilliant talent.
Theme song for anyone who's ever lived in an area prone to earthquakes

Reese Wynans on piano, and that is Eric Johnson on guitar (Les Paul)
" I Feel The Earth Move", 2nd. hit from Carol King's classic 1971 album, "Tapestry."
She appears so confident, it's hard to believe she ever had stage fright! What a great writer, great voice, wonderful performer!
Very cool and interesting to see her away from the piano! So energetic and powerful!
Incredible woman. Wrote most of the hits of the mid to late 60s for everyone else before finally getting her due with the release of Tapestry in '71.
Carole King, we LOVE you so much

I usually sing this a lot, at the karaoke... this is such a powerful song!
I feel the earth move under my feet
I feel the sky tumbling down
I feel my heart start to trembling
Whenever you're around
Ooh, baby, when I see your face
Mellow as the month of May
Oh, darling, I can't stand it
When you look at me that way
I feel the earth move under my feet
I feel the sky tumbling down
I feel my heart start to trembling
Whenever you're around
Ooo, darling, when you're near me
And you tenderly call my name
I know that my emotions
Are something I just can't tame
I've just got to have you, baby, uh huh huh uh huh huh yeah
I feel the earth move under my feet
I feel the sky tumbling down, a'tumbling down
I feel the earth move under my feet
I feel the sky tumbling down, a'tumbling down
I just lose control
Down to my very soul
I get hot and cold, all over, all over, all over, all over
I feel the earth move under my feet
I feel the sky tumbling down, a'tumbling down
I feel the earth move under my feet
I feel the sky tumbling down, a'tumbling down,
A'tumbling down, a'tumbling down, a'tumbling down, a'tumbling down, tumbling down!
