A cute card, Juliana... Tim Holtz's new Stampers Anonymous set of Halloween Ghosts are really cute and I love that other sets of Halloween 'Things' can work so well with the Ghosts. I love the background you created and your stitching around the Curator pieces are perfect. Thank you for sharing your creativity.
Such a cute card. I love the technique with the piece of tape to cut your sentiment down. Definitely will be trying that. You all ways do such beautiful work.
Super cute card - love all the techniques and how they add depth and interest. It struck me when I was watching that we darken light edges (inking) and lighten dark edges (sanding) - kind of funny. I do it too.
Do you also sew or do you just use your sewing machine for cards? I'm curious because I'd like to buy an inexpensive sewing machine to use exclusively for cards but I have no idea of which one I should purchase. Do you have any tips? Your card is SUPER cute btw!!!
I use my sewing machine for both fabric and paper, but I am not an expert by any means. I have a Kenmore sewing machine that I've had for many years now, but these are no longer made. I have dedicated needles for sewing and papercrafting, because the paper will dull the needle. All said, I don't know that I'm the best source of advice with regards to what type of machine to recommend, but I do love the finishing touch it can add to a project.
@@JulianaMichaels Thanks for your quick reply. I just commented on another one of your videos that I'd love to see it done. Do you have any recommendations for someone to watch that shows stitching on cards on camera? Thank you again.
@@rachellecrain3016I don’t have any videos that show it and I don’t have any recommendations for you other than to do a TH-cam or Google search for it. It’s actually no different than sewing on fabric.
Very nice. You always have great tips and videos are inspiring. MaryLisa
Thank you so much, MaryLisa! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
