When it comes to the "Contrast" i was only thinking about the color contrast. But your words about contrast of feeling safe and cozy man inside the cafe and rainy outside... that is a totally new viewpoint to me. Thank you 🙏
thank you for watching & being open minded about it : ) i think it's definitely something fun and unique to try to photograph! hot summer day with a kid eating their ice cream on the left, and an older person looking at their phone in the shade on the right. something like that would be so fun too
So many times taking pictures from a car (while not moving) and then trying to color correct the tint from the windshield later 😂
LOL oh god, that's another layer of editing madness right there hahaha
are the pics edited in post or SOOC?
I really like this style of photography. Definitely also want to get more into it. Really like your work. I'm also very happy to have found a woman doing photography videos were there is not so much talking about the tech side but rather the scene and feeling of the image👍
thank you so much for your words!! gear videos are fun and informative, but i think it's even more fun and interesting to share all the thoughts/processes. i'm hoping my videos can help others to think differently when they're stuck, or in need of new ideas : )
My favorite channel lately
AHH thank you
Great video, I have a street photography channel too! Love your vibe! Keep it up and keep going!
I liked the philosophical discussion very much. Echoes what goes through my head too while making photographs. Nice work.
thank you so much! haha i'm glad to hear we all go through those thoughts
1:25 yeah, casually don’t even mention the self driving car… 😂
😂don't mind it.. it's just doing its thing
the clothing store hidden in the back of that coffee shop is super sick, it's called departmento, highly recommend
6:06 never, ever apologise for taking the shot YOU like - regardless how many others have done it before you, please yourself and if others like your work then happy bonus :)
hi there, where do you use your recipes from?
where do i use my recipes, or where do i get my recipes from? i make my own and if they're someone else's, i list them in the description.
@@yewonperry apologies, I think I was half asleep when commented 😂😂😂.
We are going to all the same places in LA to shoot! Do you go to any of the group meetups like @beersandcameras_LA
i've been meaning to check that out!! i gotta go to the next one when i'm back in LA!
The recipe on that coffee drink & croissant was CRAZY😮💨😮💨😮💨😮💨😮💨🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
hehehe THANK YOU!!! the colors were def cozy ☺️
I think you thinking of Matt Weber. He was a taxi driver in the late 70’s who took street photos. He eventually became a full time street photographer. He has great work. You should check some of his books.
nah, it was a random person who lives in LA and is quite young. thanks for sharing this photographer tho!
Tone-on-tone or contrasting images... both excellent themes! Nice to see so many umbrellas for a change. And it's also okay to throw in a cliche every now and then. 😄
definitely a nice change! i'm getting a little more excited to shoot in the sun, but i know i'll miss this rainy weather as soon as it gets anywhere above 90 lol
6:22 How could you do this to me?hahaha this my fav! Royal Supra is one of my fav recipe 🙌
LOL i was shocked at my own image hahahah
Would love to hear your thoughts on how you decide to crop certain photos / composition of your photos. What you decide to leave in, what to remove, etc. Love the videos!
ooOo this is a great question! i'll answer it in my upcoming q&a : )
Keep doing your thing! Some sweet images here. 🙂
thank you very much!!
What camera do you use when filming your talking head segments
It's in the title of the video (Ray Ban meta)
@@michaelhall859 I've been wondering what that meant
talking segment: iphone
pov: in the title
Saul Leiter did pics from cars
not the person i was referring to, but wow, his works are incredible!
