I'm not sure what it says about me but I always bring a notebook to coffee shops aspirationally but almost never use it. Maybe that needs to be my own challenge this week.
i feel you, i buy myself a notebook every year and i hardly ever write in it. we need to find some fun ways to use them!

Ahhh, the old "Oooh, this will be GREAT when someone just walks through there!" and then...crickets. Why can't people just do what the photographers want! :) Last summer I'm in a local nature park that's very popular with mountain bikers, and I find a spot where they've built themselves a jumping spot with a ramp, and I knew there were bikers about, so I set up and waited...and waited...and waited...and gave up. Sigh!
A while back I tried to take a similar image at the same spot, in the fashion district. Waiting for someone to glance at the mannequins as well. Never happened so I moved on.
As always, it's wonderful to hear your thoughts behind the scenes you're working and the photographs you take. And it's amazing to see the kitty up close! 😻
