      The farm labor there is definitely alot cheaper than here in The Bahamas.
      Here it's at least $80 per day per worker , and no Hurricanes

    I've actually been searching for Durian farms for sale. Found many yes they are more expensive but some have 100's of trees already mature and producing fruit so your making money immediately, and older tree produce more I heard . I guess you have to know what you're looking for I am no expert. 5 years is a long time to wait that's all. Food for thought.

    My question is how many trees can you plant per Rai, and what is the average production (In Kilos) per tree and does the PH level need to be maintained with manure etc ? I know , so many questions. Thanks in advance.😊

    VERY BEAUTIFUL VIEW. YOU GOT VERY GOOD DEAL ON THE HOUSE 1.2 MB VERY CHEAP. I JUST BUILD A HOUSE IN BANGKOK COST ME 3 MB. THE LAND FOR 7MB 17 RAI WAS LISTENABLE. THE WAY I SEE YOU TREE TAKE ABOUT TWO MORE YEARS TO GIVE YOU FRUITS. EVERY NOV. LOOK FOR IT, BUT FIRST YEAR WHEN THEY COME OUT DON'T EXPECT MUCH. THEN IT WILL GIVE YOU BACK A LOT. BUT WHEN THIEF SEE IT BE CAREFUL YOU HAVE TO PUT SOME LIGHT ON THE FENCE AND DOGS. I JUST BROUGHT MY 13RAI 3.5MB RAYONG. HOPE I CAN DO LIKE YOU FOR MY RETIREMENT.
    GOOD LUCK !

    Focus on staying in good standing with your wife and family, because saying things like "my durian farm" is misleading. You cannot own land in Thailand, you are on a one year renewable VISA, there is not a lot of recourse as your name is not on the title or chanote. Things are much different here than in the USA
    Peace, Love, and Understanding.......All the best . BTW a usufruct is only an agreement that can be broken as well AFAIK

    • @TMDurianfarmer
      @TMDurianfarmer  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Married 20 years we have many properties here starting 20; years ago and in America your pointing out newbie stuff I learned 20; years ago its not important definitely irrelevant to the vid . It's worth paying the price to sit down with a lawyer and get informed like I did 20 years ago. Relax your not the only one that knows that stuff

      @@TMDurianfarmer Alright, am sure you know some expats may not get a lawyer before junping in....also like me many do not trust lawyers or the Thai legal system. Feel free to delete comment as I do not see it maybe you did. Glad your living the life.

      I had thought that would be a great idea it would be like a REIT , I would have to speak with a lawyer for this but I'm sure there would be much interest ,

      @ZulFikar-sn1vr ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TMDurianfarmer Monthong, Musang King, Simas, lombao. I only have 300 trees. We grow papayas in the rows between the Durians.
      Nice setup.... and best wishes with that

    • @TMDurianfarmer
      @TMDurianfarmer  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ZulFikar-sn1vr Thank you what verity do you like best? My favorite is monthong I have yet to have the chance to try the other verities you are growing

    • @ZulFikar-sn1vr
      @ZulFikar-sn1vr ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TMDurianfarmer monthongs are consistantly good. Actually. Having tried them all, in my opinion, the most expensive varieties are over hyped, and not expensive because of their flavour, but for their false claims. The buyers would not know the difference, and to humour myself, I have tested that theory haha.
      The very best tasting Durians, are called "local" durians, are very cheap and smaller, and scorned by the average buyer. From large old trees. Absolutely delicious!
      Through my experimenting, I have something unique.... That is.... My durian trees produce fruit all year round. On the same tree are nearly mature fruit, 3 month old fruit, and new flowers, which means they fruit in the off season. And command up to 3 times the in season price.
      Organic, and no hormones to force fruit.
      Global weather changes are so great, so rapid, that in my opinion, the greatest mistake, is to bind yourself to traditional methods, because that is the single factor causing devestation in the Indonesian Durian Industry presently. Must discover ways to adapt and change methods annually. So that has been my focus over the past few years......

    • @TMDurianfarmer
      @TMDurianfarmer  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ZulFikar-sn1vr wow that's amazing how your trees are producing .Very interesting to hear the false claims about the verities .I also think monthong is consistently good I agree .In Thailand we also have some local durian that is really good the only complaint I hear from locals is the seeds are too big so they rather choose monthong due to taste and small seeds .
      I would love to visit your farm some day if possible to learn from you .Your techniques you practice sound amazing
