Great and detailed video. More videos about specific regions in the western hemisphere would be great since there seems to be a lack of videos covering the history of tribal lands in the new world on the internet.
Excelent map, nice video, the Tlingit culture is awesome, And is nice it to see it on the map in the golden age of the world, the 15th and 16th century
@@YeastCartography To call them "concentration camps" is a bit disingenuous. Yes, they were horrible. But people were never intentionally killed there and really shouldn't be compared to concentration camps which specifically existed to kill people.
@@YeastCartography I've read a bit into it, and yes they were in fact relocated, and could never return to their original home on attu island, but I still think concentration camp is an exaggeration, but maybe you have sources for that

The attention to detail is spectacular. The 1865 British expeditions align perfectly with where the rivers should be. This must have taken hours!

I think it’s a good idea too. My next one will be on what is now Suriname.
@@YeastCartography Looking forward to it!
I've just completed a video detailing Pre-columbian Peruvian history.
Absolutely brilliant. Credits to you for this.
Really nice video!
Fantastic work, you beat me to the punch, though this is probably better than what I could have come up with given my time constraints as of recent.
Yeah this was the most exhausting project I’ve done so far, without time constraints I’m sure you could have done better if not just as good

We shouldn't have sold Alaska.
You shouldn’t have colonized it in the first place
@@YeastCartography Then USA wouldn't buy it. Probably British would colonize the area, which is worse.
All colonialism is bad
Wait Han Chinese in alaska
No, the Han indigenous group, they are not Chinese.
Yes that is where Chinese people originally came from.
True and real

You have no idea how happy it makes me to see other people use by videos for their projects :)
