Hader’s increasingly frustrated Price trying to wrangle his ridiculous guest stars and deal with bad production value is so hilarious. I wish NBC would upload the St. Patrick’s Day & Valentine’s Day sketches.
Same. When they screamed "Dont say Swallow!" and he made his intro playing the piano , I had to rewind that maybe ten times, laughing harder each time.
@@Crappiere it's been confirmed in a 92y panel he did with Bill Hader. This was the first sketch John wrote with Bill and Seth Meyers and this line completely floored them. It's very likely that this sketch is what cemented them as lifelong friends.
@@steph13326ify im certainly not taking anything away from John. But you underestimate how many kids grew up watching Rich Little and lots of other talented impersonators. It's probably where John got his imitation from. I've been imitating James Mason since I was a little kid. As well as dozens of others. There are some perks to watching tv for 60 years.
I forget which cast member it was who told the story. But they said they switched the character on on him at the last minute. I forget who it was supposed to be originally, but they never rehearsed with him doing James Mason. When they told him, he just said no problem, and then knocked it out of the park.
These are definitely some of my favorite Bill Hader moments on the show. Vincent Price and the Keith Morrison impression are definitely in my top five Bill Hader sketches.
My parent's had eight kids who were all Vincent Price fans, we would get out of bed and bang at the door till our father let us in the living room to watch his horror movies, fond memories. 😁💓
catalinacurio no house of wax was the film where he plays a sculptor that was burned by his partner to get the insurance money. And he makes his new sculptures with victims he kills by melting wad on their bodies.
@@catalinacurio Yes and like Cassandra Lewis says he dips his female victims in vats of wax lol. This is all so he can make manikins of them and display them in his museum!! These four Vincent Price Skits are Absolutely Everything!!! I Adore Bill! All of his Celeb guests that make an appearance in them are completely true to their life!
I like how Bill's Vincent tries so hard to put on a good show for the kids, and even after his guests are wildly innapropiate, he still takes time to calm down poor Judy Garland when she panics. Wish he had at least two more of these!
These Vincent Price sketches are among my favorite as someone that really loves old Hollywood characters. Maybe the young people didn’t get it, but I really appreciated it.
11:51 Look-look-look, the brains were just spaghetti and the eyeballs were just grapes! 11:55 Eh-uh- that's right, and this zombie finger here is, a, just a sausage.
Little fun fact. Vincent price was paid 100 grand to voice over "thriller". He did it in 1 take. When they asked him to do a 2nd take he told them "you already got what you paid for. 2 takes is a 2 checks" the 1st and only take is what u heard
SNL presents Halloween special 1967 with black and white with Vincent price Starring with Bill hader as Vincent price Guest stars Maya Rudolph as Mary Tyler Moore Amy Poehler as Barbara Eden Kelsey grammer as Bob Newhart
More people should know that Jon Hamm tortured a guy. Like legit tortured. Dragged a man by his testicles with a claw hammer, lit him on fire, and caused kidney damage... His response when asked about it, called it a "bummer of a situation"
Hey they fixed the audio when Sen. Kennedy and Liberace both say "Been there done that"... in the original (also on YT) the two were slightly out of sync. Thanks for the thoughtful editing :)
lately Bill has taken over my recommended page , but I’m not complaining
Me as well. Can't complain😁✌
BARRY
His Anthony Coleman one had me absolutely dying yesterday, I'm realizing I missed a whole lot of his great skits and am happy to catch up
TH-cam can bend anything too...
His Jacuzzi Lifeguard one is really funny...a bit of a different acting style...

SNL should bring back Armisen and Hader every Halloween just for this.
Alejandro Zapata yes please
Yes! And David S. Pumpkins too!
hey nive house its not frightening' at all.they should of had someone do tellulah blankhead.
Absolutely! This is one of the funniest bits in a long time!
His impression is horrible

They should
Aaaah I hate how people are thirsting over him
Unicorn curry people and 13 year olds
They blocked them? I thought i've watched them all but there's more?
Caramel Dance There are a couple that are blocked even in the US.
Bill Hader somehow manages to be both the most adorable and the most evil human simultaneously, and honestly I love it
You should watch his new series: Barry

I don't know how anyone keeps a straight face around Armisen's Liberace.
“At least my FACE is straight.”
‘Cool it Liberace!”

Lol haunting accompaniment.
I've seen these sketches a million times and they never get any less funny.
It's hilarious that Vincent Price isn't the weird one!
"save your sassy asides for your windowless barrrrs"
the beginning of a beautiful partnership
I see I've found an intellectual 👀
The utter silence from the audience after that flawless joke honestly breaks my heart.

Feel like no one is talking about Kristen Wiig’s Gloria Swanson/Norma Desmond! Can’t believe how spot on the impression and overall look was!
That's because anyone can do a Gloria Swanson impression, and a whole lot less could do James Mason.
Maybe so! But she still nailed it 😊

“There’s a tall scarier man outside with a big green hat.”
“Judy, that’s a palm tree!”

Poor Judy. MGM really screwed her up
