You know a singer is great when they are confident and not afraid to show people to go in and out singing over the backing track. It makes the listener distinguish better the live vocals from the backing track.
This environment is Baekhyun's turf. This is what he was born to do. Honestly, he's one of those idols who can sell out an arena and purely sing without theatriacs , major production, dancers, et al.
Watch music shows he didn’t sing live….i think 10% was live the reason background and lip sync + watch his shows on his concert i attended one of them :)

Lol stop fighting, Baekhyun were jealous with fans of their faces, because their faves were long way from Baekhyun and their faves isn't or can't depeat or surpassed Baekhyun, they can just dream their faves or bias defeated or surpassed Baekhyun. That's why they're always think their faves or bias can surpassed Baekhyun....no one can beat Baekhyun in his own/3rd generation, except Chen, he is in his level to admit it. This lady says he lip syncing isn't true, Baekhyun is the soloist singer that hates lip synching at all, so don't be jealous accusing Baekhyun as lip synching, geez, Baekhyun will never do that and I guess u never listens Baekhyun's Bambi album, City Lights album and this album, I suggest u listen to it before u embarrassed urself!
don’t remember when exactly, but it was during candy era that baekhyun was getting hated on by knetz for performing “too live” while dancing 😭

nah he only went to training for a short time. like 3 months if i remember correctly. guy a literal talent, but he keeps training vocally too so big props to him. my fave soloist in exo. guy's a creative genius
The good thing about Exo is that in 20-30 years...when they would eventually not be anymore to dance...they still would kill the game on tour with their vocals...

Correction: He entered SM as a trainee when he was 21 which is considered pretty late knowing how most idols debuted in their teens. He's already in college taking his major when he was scouted I believe. He debuted when he was 22, only 6 months of training. Literally the same as Chen, same training period, same age, and went on the same audition too and passed at the same time. They talked about this a lot actually. Its amazing. That's how you know these two are really talented right off the bat for SM to immediately want to make them enter EXO after just 6 months as MAIN VOCALISTS considering how the other members trained for 6-7 years max! This is not me saying the others who trained longer aren't talented but it just shows that Baekhyun and Chen are really meant to be in EXO, one of the best groups ever to exist, even if they barely trained.
PS. While it might be impressive for them to debut that fast, Baekhyun did say it was hard for them to catch up because the members already garnered so much knowledge for years and are already close so there's definitely more pressure for them as the last members to enter the group but they definitely did well.
To be noted: when you say 21 it's actually using the old korean age system. So using the western age system, he joined SM when he was 19 :)
