You can stretch it with some ever clear or vodka, and if you make a bigger batch its freezable. once you go with this, you'll never want to look a t a bottle of corn syrup and "red 40" ever agin.
@@drinkswithdave oh Im sure. I have mainly just made the smugglers cove grenadine which is just POM and Sugar. I also recently came across Tobey MAloneys recipe and he actually has half POM and Half Fresh Pomegranate Juice, Orange Peels, and Bitters in his. Then I see yours with the molasses which I have never seen before as well. Grenadine world is opening up lol
I've made all these except orgeat. Loved the tip about the pomegranate molasses in the grenadine. I have no excuse not to try the orgeat recipe. It's a lot easier than I expected. Great vid!
It's super easy, and cost effective. Ive done it with the blanched almonds, and I find it's not really worth the fuss. Unless you just spend your days "tasting" orgeat. lol.
it only takes a few minutes. we went to a lavender farm near us and bought some whole stalk dried lavender, then removed the flowers (kinda fun) and the syrup takes 20 minutes total, mostly just letting it cool and steep.
