As an ex professional forester, I know that even the smallest, toy-like chainsaw would have bits of you (or your workmate) off in the blink of an eye. Aside from that, this is great stuff. Do you think you could maybe slow down some of the more critical parts, such as wiring the top? But, really, thanks for the great content (Careful with that axe Eugene).
Great demo . I would like to have seen more close up shots - especially when working with the chainsaw. For what it’s worth, small battery chainsaws are much more manageable than their gas-powered counterparts. Still, it’s advisable to at least wear eye protection 🤓
It might be some Japanese Bonsai macho culture in regards to not wearing safety glasses? Eyes are so fragile & sensitive and I can attest it is a pain in the ass the smallest splinter of or stone getting stuck in your eyes. Fabulous tree & demo, Taiga is a beast in Bonsai.

The effect is very cool, but Nigel Saunders is right. I know there is not much time, but it was very dangerous.
