There's a billion ways to break the Veil. Ball lightning phases out, so it doesn't die at the end of turn because it didn't exist at that point each turn? Provided you keep it alive and the Veil up (couple counters can do that and some burn, just going oldschool here) Nab creatures with your red spells that usually return the creature 'at end of turn' -- too bad, it's phased out, it doesn't exist after combat, including at the end of that turn. Now, because the rulings of Magic are ever-changing and also because this card is *so* old, I'm sure I could be incorrect depending on specific errata & rulings that may have been handed down. But from what I found looking around online, the Veil has a ton of ways to get a ton of value from it, even if some of these 'old tricks' get 'fixed' or 'errata' etc. Basically you can 'dodge' these normal 'until end of turn' effects from a multitude of cards & colors, and they tend to all work incredibly well w/ the Veil. And yes, in 2022 they made tokens work with phasing, so they don't just get removed as they did prior to that ruling. So, in this case, that's a ruling that gave us a buff instead of a nerf. Sweet! This is why it's the dankest 20 cent card ever made, IMO.
Nah, man, it'd be hard to recover from that solo. Similar to my past, and he was there for me whenever I needed it, and never left me hanging. This dude is a brother from another mother. So, once I thought about it, it really was a no-brainer. Just had to order some cards off TCG and fill in the blanks. He got an Avacyn, Ancient Copper (and Brass), Demonic Tutor, and a slew of great dragons, angels & demons & other stuff to accompany them with (of course!) I would have felt like I left him hanging, you know? Really just the right thing to do. I have way too many cards, homie has none, duh, right? And yeah, those piratelab boxes are my favorite. Love them a bunch. I could probably do an 'preferred accessory showcase' video, binders, sleeves, deck boxes, and the why and why not others! Anyway, thanks as always for checking it out and the comment buddy :)
O man thieves are the worst. I was helping a "friend" and he stole most of my collection and my kids' collection almost 2 years ago now. I've been trying to recollect. It's always someone who's a "friend" that screws you over.
Doesn't get much worse than that for a collector. Poof. Gone. Definitely had my fair share of that happening, even when I was 10-12 collecting sports cards. Some life lessons are super expensive.
does the teferi's veil work with tokens to?
