I fucking love how when the band starts playing "Departure" the crowd all collectively perks up and starts getting excited. More specifically, the 5 or 6 notes of the song *everyone* who's played the game instantly recognizes. It's amazing because you can almost feel that this is the song that all of them had been waiting for. You know a song has a lasting power when people will go crazy just hearing the first portion of it.
Fucking incredible. I'd give anything to be able to experience this live.
But there's a lot of tracks equally good they could enjoy the same way :/

The Megaman Zero series has been, and will always be my all time favorite game. To this day, I still go back to them here and there. We all know, Zero shall live on forever in our hearts.
The Hero of Death for me no is my favorite because I wish X and Zero Death in Ragnarok in Zero 4 and the End of a Franchise of megaman or Megaman ZX,But i dont like the death of X, Zero can Save him in the santuary in The Hearth of Neo Acardia,Zero save X and harpuia Apear and leave him and Zero defeat Elpizo

I find it sad not many people seemed to know the ZX songs.
The zx games have a ton of problems, so I see why people don't recognize the music.
What problems?
Cause zx series didn't get good sales.ZX series is not really that bad at all, great music and gameplay,and still remains classic "zero" style.But storyline is really not attractive to most players.And bunch of problems like map design.

@@astrobread7300 I know this is 3 years late, but Megaman ZX had you play as a person that could control these relics called biometals which would allow you to wear these suits that resemble past characters and use their abilities. At least, that's the best I could sum it up.

I'd love to see/hear them do albums for MM9, MM10, Zero /and/ ZX; all have really great music, but that'd be so many tracks that they'd be better off giving each other room to breathe.
They did release albums for all of those games btw.

Love this series and all the people who worked on it, my life wouldn't be the same with out it. I listen to the ost all the time, and replayed countless times. I'll never forget walking into gamestop and asking my mom if she could buy me the latest megaman zero game.

Of the team, id say Ryo Kawakami's songs are my favorite. I like his style. (The composer of Wonder Panorama, Doomsday Device, Bullet Drive, No Turning Back, Farewell to Ballade and more.)

I always feel there's a common style of MELODY shared by many of these tracks.
For example, Cold Smile, Black Burn, Freesia, Trail on Powdery Snow.
I feel that the similarity is not only about the instrument timbre used, but also about how the melody is organized. (Probably the music mode of these melodies?)
