With airtel sim just go with basic plan no need for international roaming ,still you will receive Otp,s

Which pack you choose to continue validity of your Jio SIM in Canada ? As there is no Jio pack which comes without calling, internet features.
And for receive messages you must have active pack.

Yes, you can activate and recharge your international roaming card. Go to net banking and pay online for your plan.

I just talked with customer care they recommended one more thing instead of recharge international roaming plan monthly while living in Canada we can also recharge with Normal plan or Value plan(affordable plan) to keep using incoming services like OTP
Which telecom operator you contacted ? Jio ?
And to keep the number active is it mandatory to make a call/sms while in Canada ?
@@harshdesai880 I am already in Toronto and I can see jio network through partner network. You just need to contact Jio Customer care and ask them to activate International roaming, after that you will start getting signal. You just need to keep your sim activate by recharging any of cheapest plan e.g. Value Pack Recharge. By doing this you will keep receiving sms free, rest of services are paid and no one gonna need those services while living for long term here. Hope I clarify your doubt.
