It all depends on the definition. If it's like "hang out with for a couple of hours" (like once ever, or even once every couple years or so) I'm fairly certain that I'd have a great time with both or either of them. If it's "hang out with regularly, like friends", then I agree with you, I'm not sure we'd work as friends for a number of reasons. I'm sure they're both great, but there are a lot of great people who wouldn't work as friends for me (and vice versa).

But I completely undertand what you mean. There are some famous people that I really like, but I know that we wouldn't be good friends on daily basis. i bumped into these wonderful dudes in tokyo shibuya about 2/3 years ago, purely by accident, they were on holiday ( i think) and i was just leaving my music school and there they were. i was having one of the worst days of my life and i was a wreck. i saw them walking down the street toward me and i couldnt believe my eyes! it was embarrassing as i was sobbing, but they were so kind and they let me take a photo with them. we talked about how i was attending this technical music school and that i played violin and something about anime too. they probably dont remember, but that is a day i will never forget

Okay, I wanna clarify things. I voted for Brett too for the question about hanging out but it's just because it was mentioned in their previous vids that Brett is a lot more extroverted than Eddy. I can totally picture the scene! 😂😂😂 I used to be like that, but luckily an extrovert adopted me almost 20 years ago (my best friend, basically my "Brett") and helped me, showing how to start a conversation, encouraging me to talk when we were in a group, etc... I'm really surprised that more people didn't vote for Eddy in the hangout question. He is incredibly introspective, and he clearly enjoys exploring topics critically. I feel like he would have an interesting perspective on any topic. He's also funny and light-hearted during conversation.
I voted for Eddy because he seems really thoughtful and would really have some interesting perspectives on a lot of subjects. But to be perfectly honest, I would want to hang out with BOTH of them, not just one or the other.

If you see this- I don't think any of us knew your friends set the questions without you knowing what was in there. I think we assumed you both had set the questions, therefore it was more of a jokey feel (for example the question about who is better to hang out with). But knowing you guys didn't know the questions, it feels kind of cruel that the answers might give an impression your fans like one of you more than the other. I don't think that's the case at all. You're very right! It seems bizarre to me that a friend would also put a shipping question in there as well, when they know how weird it can get with some fans! When it came to the hanging out and the better teacher questions, I actually answered those reverse of the popular. Eddy seems to have similar humor to me anytime they're being 'casual', so I said I would prefer to hang out with him. But Brett seemed like he would be a more patient teacher, and better at explaining the basics, so I picked him as the teacher. I feel like about half the fans were actually trying to be serious with all their answers, and the other half were just trolling to the max. 😆
From the video where they worked at a music store, Brett was really patient and gentle with the young girl who was picking out a violin. I think he'll be a patient teacher. 🙂

During the virtual world tour I finally figured out the secret of Ling Ling. It's not one person, it's two. Brett and Eddy together are Ling Ling. And that's also how they get 40 hours of practice in every day. That's why no one alone can achieve becoming Ling Ling. Also, Ling Ling insurance means is they 100% have each other's backs.
Twoset you guys should make a video with artists from other genres of music and have them teach you how to play in that style (like a romani violinist, jazz violinist, a fiddler, a carnatic violinist... Or even other types of music that don't use violin). I think all musicians benefit from opening themselves to different genres so it'd be pretty educational, but it would also be really funny watching you actually attempt to play something else than classical lol (not that I don't like classical it's awesome too)
Another suggestion to add to the different styles: Prog/Rock/Fusion. I personally have a LOT of fun with various effects pedals. The fusion of Technology and Technique in experimental music is a blast.

9:56 I'm guessing since we know Eddy is an introvert. Introverts tend to be less social since it tires them out, and are usually more reserved. Alcohol makes you less reserved. So, if we put it on an extreme (consuming lots of alcohol), that's the choice.
In terms of body mass too. Even if they drink the same amount of alcohol brett will get drunk quicker since smaller people need less alcohol to get drunk.

I went to a counceling session today (take care of your mental health, everyone) and I noticed a poster for the local Philharmonic Youth Orchestra on her door, and that the Cello soloist shared her last name. I asked her about it, leading toa short talk about classical music in general, and about her 2 kids (Daughter confirmed cello soloist, Son violin soloist) At one point I mentioned getting back into all of it recently thanks to watching TwoSet. I'm really surprised that more people didn't vote for Eddy in the hangout question. He is incredibly introspective, and he clearly enjoys exploring topics critically. I feel like he would have an interesting perspective on any topic. He's also funny and light-hearted during conversation.
I voted for Eddy because he seems really thoughtful and would really have some interesting perspectives on a lot of subjects. But to be perfectly honest, I would want to hang out with BOTH of them, not just one or the other.

If you see this- I don't think any of us knew your friends set the questions without you knowing what was in there. I think we assumed you both had set the questions, therefore it was more of a jokey feel (for example the question about who is better to hang out with). But knowing you guys didn't know the questions, it feels kind of cruel that the answers might give an impression your fans like one of you more than the other. I don't think that's the case at all. I hope you both know that you're both fantastic and very talented.

When it came to the hanging out and the better teacher questions, I actually answered those reverse of the popular. Eddy seems to have similar humor to me anytime they're being 'casual', so I said I would prefer to hang out with him. But Brett seemed like he would be a more patient teacher, and better at explaining the basics, so I picked him as the teacher.
I feel like about half the fans were actually trying to be serious with all their answers, and the other half were just trolling to the max. 😆
From the video where they worked at a music store, Brett was really patient and gentle with the young girl who was picking out a violin. I think he'll be a patient teacher. 🙂

Twoset you guys should make a video with artists from other genres of music and have them teach you how to play in that style (like a romani violinist, jazz violinist, a fiddler, a carnatic violinist... Or even other types of music that don't use violin). I think all musicians benefit from opening themselves to different genres so it'd be pretty educational, but it would also be really funny watching you actually attempt to play something else than classical lol (not that I don't like classical it's awesome too)

I think you both would make great teachers in different ways. Like Eddy can teach a lecture class on music theory, while Brett can be a personal violin teacher for individual lessons. I struggled so much with the Brett vs. Eddy portion of this survey 😂

9:56 I'm guessing since we know Eddy is an introvert. Introverts tend to be less social since it tires them out, and are usually more reserved. Alcohol makes you less reserved. So, if we put it on an extreme (consuming lots of alcohol), that's the choice.
In terms of body mass too. Even if they drink the same amount of alcohol brett will get drunk quicker since smaller people need less alcohol to get drunk.

That's true! I personally feel Twoset is really refreshing in that we can see a really strong, genuine, friendship between Brett and Eddy but it's also not our place to comment on their personal lives, and I've realized we aren't really the best judge of who they are and what we should do; the best thing I feel I can do is support them and buy their merch when I'm no longer broke as a twoset fan.

I went to a counceling session today (take care of your mental health, everyone) and I noticed a poster for the local Philharmonic Youth Orchestra on her door, and that the Cello soloist shared her last name. I asked her about it, leading toa short talk about classical music in general, and about her 2 kids (Daughter confirmed cello soloist, Son violin soloist) At one point I mentioned getting back into all of it recently thanks to watching TwoSet.
