’Moments’ is a short film with US Olympic and World Cup mountain biker Christopher Blevins, exploring his mindful approach to racing at the highest level.
Assumptions that arise from success - that a taste of glory will lead to an endless feast - can nurture complacency. It's the enemy of purpose. For Christopher Blevins the hunger to be a better mountain biker comes from a heightened recognition of the sensations that can be experienced from staying in the moment. Having an awareness that this point in time won't happen again brings clarity and fulfillment to competition that can't be matched by a physical medal.

I did not grow up in Durango but spent many years living there and amazed at the community of cyclists and skiers there that have dedicated that lifestyle to the kids. That never happened in the community that I grew up in and think how lucky the kids are in these types of areas. I am 49 and jealous of what mountain town kids have to grow up to and feel that they have no idea!
