Thanks for sharing Gary. I did similar distancing from friends and family before coming out at 30! Now 77, I see it wasn’t really necessary, but it’s all part of the process, isn’t it? Enjoyed this.

It’s nice to know that some things do actually changed with time. I kept hoping you would mention if your niece and her family were Republicans or Democrats. If they are Democrats, then it’s not that surprising that they would be accepting. If they are Republicans then that’s even more amazing. Very, very happy for you! 😊👍
