As always gentlemen, nothing but genuine information and much appreciated. I’ll keep you informed as to when I’m able to fly in, it may be sooner than thought. See how I go. Take care and thanks for the podcasts guys :)
I have invested in Fikirtepe and I am very pleased, but my heart and experience drew me to Kartal and the view of the beautiful Princess Islands. The next purchase will definitely be in that area. I am a European, but I think that the Asian side of Istanbul is more beautiful and, more importantly, more profitable to invest. Big greetings to the guys from Property Turkey and for doing a great job and investment help!
Gentlemen, Thank You again for this insightful discussion. As I have said before, foreign buyers have a bias and a phobia against The Asian Side. I personally LOVE The Asian Side. If I were based in Istanbul, The Asian Side (specifically Moda or Fenerbache) would be the place for me. The foreigners (and I am a foreigner) associate the Asian Side with the Middle East and they associate the Middle East with Islam and Terrorism. That is the problem. I think the solutionis to do more videos that show the true beauty and rich culture as well as the diversity of The Asian Side. I believe that will eliminate ignorance and educate foreign buyers more.
Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God, instruction about cleansing rites, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. And God permitting, we will do so. It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age and who have fallen away, to be brought back to repentance. To their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace. Land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is farmed receives the blessing of God. But land that produces thorns and thistles is worthless and is in danger of being cursed. In the end it will be burned. Even though we speak like this, dear friends, we are convinced of better things in your case-the things that have to do with salvation. God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, so that what you hope for may be fully realized. We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised. When God made his promise to Abraham, since there was no one greater for him to swear by, he swore by himself, saying, “I will surely bless you and give you many descendants.” And so after waiting patiently, Abraham received what was promised. People swear by someone greater than themselves, and the oath confirms what is said and puts an end to all argument. Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of his purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised, he confirmed it with an oath. God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be greatly encouraged. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek. Hebrews 6:1-20 NIV bible.com/bible
Nobody coming to Turkey to live is confused about where Turkey belongs on the map. Turkey is not Europe, and Europe doesn’t equate to glamour either. There plenty of shitty Europe just a little West of Turkey. People come to Turkey for the cheaper cost of living and if they decide to buy property they’re of course opting for the option with the most upward potential. This whole Europe vs. Asian divide is driven by financial returns indifferent to which side it might be. No one cares about Islam.
I need a 1+1 in istanbul but not to expensive in this lira. I always watch your show when I have time. Let me know I will call you when you respond with something. We can't trust anyone but you guys can be trusted.
Good informative episode. You guys had an episode about Fikretepe which is also on the Asian side. And someone from your office suggested to me other places on the Asian side too. Will definitely look into those.
i'm looking for something to rent first in Istanbul something between 500 - 1000 euro's.. something with a view and in the center.. I love modern buildings and i don't mind to buy furniture..
I appreciate your candid observations but how do you expect to sell real estate in the areas that you just trashed? Or are you basically not going to take your clients to these areas?
Thanks for the feedback Elizabeth. We did mention that some of parts of those areas are actually good places to live in. However, Cameron and Alaattin are referring to the area from an investment perspective. Which very much involves the rental yields and more importantly the capital appreciation. What is said in the video is to consider other areas as well if your primary goal is to make the most out of your investment.
What can one do legally if the developer is late? İ know in the contract it says they can be late six months, but what if they are over that date after those six months?
Informative talking about Real estate I am interested to purchase something but thinking again and again that would it better for me. Would you tell about rental return or any others opportunity that my invest will safe and returnable. Love from Bangladesh for transparent talking.
Esenyurt is what i call esengeles, but with dark angels in it🤣 as someone who lived in Kartal for a year, it's totally q better area, the coastal road itself is enough to change your idea, with Dragos hill and princess islands...✌️✌️✌️
The biggest con offers are (trap) : buy 3. Stay in 1 & Rent out the other 2 !! Disaster at the end, U neither can Rent nor U can stay comfortable at huge high rise complexes ( few thousands of Units all together )
15:26 Why there are no / very very less foreign Buyers in that particular Area ( Asian Side ) ?! Because the project's are most of the time not qualified for the Turkish citizenship program! ( per example: Nidapark Kucukyali @ Maltepe )
I have been 18 years at real estate market as an realtor and investor. I must say this tips are real fact. Your talks are very honest, straight forward and inspirational for other realtors. Looking forward for more videos like this. 👌
*Sorry but in the start of the video, you said there is hardly anyone in the foreign investors who can raise his hand and say he a made a profit (in terms of Hard currencies, like US Dollars) and not in Turkish Lira terms.* *But then you state that there "Versus Dragos (or however you write), was 1.2 Million in Turkish Lira and now it's 4 million Turkish Liras. Why are we not talking comparing the prices in US Dollars for this development? Should we go head and compare where was Turkish Lira two years ago and how much as it depreciated by today AND THEN see the profits?*
I think they said 3 years ago it was 1.6 million Lira, I was in Istanbul August 2019 and the Dollar was 5.8 Turkish Lira not 7 as mentioned in the video, now it is 9.3,
Hi, thanks for the feedback. But It’s very hard to please everyone. Sometimes we use USD figures and they say “why are you using USD the properties are bought and sold in TL” and sometimes we use TL and they say “Why are you using TL talk terms of USD”. The point is, the property’s value has gone up over %200 where the lira has depreciated %25 over the same time period.
Allow me to disagree with you guys today. There are a lot of very good projects in Esenyurt,Belekduzu and Bahsesehir.especially the peripheries of Esenyurt are very suitable for investment interns of its proximity to the the transportation. Shopping and simplicity of life. Areas like cumhuriyat, belediyedi, and other areas are most sought by investors due to the potential of resale. So I found your generalization not founded on facts
It makes sense if your buying abroad you will ask friends/families and contacts for recommendations on where to buy for decent quality of life. Not everyone is looking for a quick profit, lots of people are thinking in terms of 20+ years
This is the most rational person i have found here on the net speaking about Real -estate .....This sounds so logic to me....
thank you for your kind words 🙏
You guys should do a video of both your backgrounds, how did you start in the business and what did you do to get where you are now
As always gentlemen, nothing but genuine information and much appreciated.

Very good episode,
But I think that one of the reasons people are buying in European side is because it's affordable as budget compared to Asian side,
Is it a good time to buy for foreign investors now or should they wait for the latest property valuation regulations to bed down.
Good informative episode. You guys had an episode about Fikretepe which is also on the Asian side. And someone from your office suggested to me other places on the Asian side too. Will definitely look into those.

Hi Alladin , Thank you for wonderful insights, i really vouch for asian side but you dont have much inventory comparing to europeon side..
