I have one, I have broken many parts on paved surfaces, I only use it in the dirt. It’s stable on the dirt tracks once you get the suspension dialed in

Just got my first traxxas got the slash 2wd brushless I'm having fun with only thing I didnt like was the stock servo burnt mine out in the first 20 minutes out the box so I got the upgraded servo
Put the rear shocks on the outer holes in the suspension arms. The inner most hole of the 3 holes close to each other will give you the best balance of stability and suspension travel.
Suspension wise, go with the Aluminum shock caps for the stock shocks(cheapest). Or go with The Traxxas GTR shocks, GTR-long and GTR Xxlong. Expensive but worth it👍
Small motor? That’s a 3660 motor or same as 550 sized which is standard or slightly larger for a 1/10 scale rc. 3650 or 540 is a standard 1/10 scale sized motor.

Highly recommend upgrading the spur gear to metal I’ve gone through 3 in the last few weeks of owning my slash and now the driveshafts to the wheels have twisted themselves.
6s senton is a better truck than slash. But the new 3s/4s senton all plastic can’t compare to the 6s senton . The slash is a better truck than 3s senton.
@@GoKaioken I just put traxxas big bore shocks on them, only reason why i say it, because the first good jump, landed wrong, and the stock shocks are only plastic and did not hold up after it, so any metal ones are an improvement.

The LCG chassis handles really well. The regular HCG slash is meh out of the box unless you put the shocks on the outer holes in the suspension arms.

I have this same model. It's an overheating POS. Stick with a 2wd slash or save up extra for the Maxx or Xmaxx

I was eyeing a senton seems similar to this rc. Wish arrma still made the 6s senton. Mojave way too big for my purposes.
