Omg thank god I’m not the only one. Like you and Bris my initial reaction was like this beat/music overall except for a few parts does not suite these women at all. Like yeah they can sing….that’s so not the issue. It’s like what another person commented, the production was just awful. Like I feel this beat was wasted tbh and SM are lucky this song is addicting and that these amazing women can pull it off.

don't get me wrong, shes an amazing dancer but her ballroom dancing ablities are not on par with pros. She may have a good upper body control aswell as performance, but her footwork isnt that good. Although she did way better then i expected

BoA and Hyoyeon are some of the best dancers in the business. Part of the top 5 back in the day. Along with Minzy, Kahi and Mint. BoA being number one. Hyoyeon and Minzy tied for 2nd depending on who you ask. It's like a Momo Lisa thing. BoA is worth a look. Eat You Up, Energetic and Only One are my favorites from her.

Just so you know, my queen BoA has never been in any group, she debuted as a solo and she's still a solo artist :) SNSD members are: Taeyeon (the one with the silver hair), Hyoyeon (the one with the pink hair) and then Sunny, Tiffany, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona and Seohyun! Jessica left the group in 2014 and SM in 2015.

Kep1er is pronounced Kepler. Their name combines Kep which means catching dreams and the number 1 which means girls coming together as one to be the best. The girls were formed through the show Girls Planet 999. They are from Korea, Japan and China. The group consists of the top nine members Yujin, Xiaoting, Mashiro, Chaehyun, Dayeon, Hikaru, Huening Bahiyyih, Youngeun, and Yeseo. I'm so proud of the Kep1er girls. I watched gp999 and gosh they've all been through sm. I loved WA DA DA. Apparently, now I'm paraphrasing, from a comment I saw on Jre's channel, WA DA DA means something along the lines of running towards something. I know people found the title weird but this would most probably make things clearer with the other lyrics like vroom vroom like a supersonic/ Wa DA DA/ run.

11:57 She is Huening Bahiyyih. When I first saw her, I was the same way. Her visuals are so unique and she is very talented. She ranked 2nd in GP999 and her fancams are very popular. If the surname or features seem familiar, it’s because her brother is Huening Kai from TXT and she also has a sister who was also in a group, VIVA. Her ethnicity is also a bit complicated as she is part German, Polish, and British from her dad and is also part Korean from her mom. Hope this helped.

They are from a survival program, each one stood out in some way in each presentation that they participated in the program either behind the scenes or on stage, Kep1er are a very complete group, they are good dancers, strong vocals and rappers, all-terrain members, they are not afraid of the camera and they are very funny
when it comes to SM song, don't expect any big drop like hybe or yg does. when u focus on their instrumental it would feel weird to listen. Try to focus more on their vocals, you would enjoy the song entirely. :) what u can expect from SM song is their bridge
I think this is the problem with newer kpop stans. This generation is used to that kind of music and style that they fail to appreciate any other sound.

even from your reaction and excitement alone i can tell the wa da da song is more catchy than step back LOL i was dying from excitement for the girl power of got the beat i mean these are all my favorite women from SM together in one group with my beloved boa as a lead afterall and the visuals are stunning but imo the song isn’t that amazing and to me, personally just didn’t live up to the hype. they still got the power, the charisma, the vocals literally not lacking in any way besides that song arrangement n melody. i really hope they’ll release more songs
