I'm new. Love your bags, they are beautiful. I have never seen an albino turtle in my 70 years. I do wish they would not albino any thing. There are so many problems for them. Thank you for that tip. your quilts are also beautiful. You are both inspiring. How wonderful to have a friend who enjoys the same craft as you. Blessings.
Hi Janet! Thanks for watching! I'm with you on the albino thing! But it does happen naturally in nature, too. My goal is to help turtles, not make their lives harder. Glad you enjoyed our video!😊
I so enjoyed stitching while listening to you gals. ❤ Loved your bags you made,I have been collecting pillowcases too to use on my bags. Yours are adorable. You did a great job! 👍 Till next time, keep in stitches. 🪡🧵 😊
Hi from Alberta Canada 🇨🇦. Another great video ladies. I am always working on a Prairie Schooler Santa along with my other projects. I started doing the Santa’s on 16 count Aida but have now started doing them on 20 count Aida. I like the size better than 16 count for ornaments. 20 count finishes about 3” wide and 3 3/4” high. See you next video.
So good to see you ladies again! Love it all, your cross stitch, turtle tidbits (which hubby enjoys also) as well as the quilting. Hoping to stitch with you again in Blue Earth😍
@@deejohnson4852Hi Deb! Thanks for watching! I get a lot of comments about husbands and grandchildren like my turtle tidbits! I'm glad they enjoy them.
At 71 I keep stitching and quilting! It is great therapy and relaxation as I’m still a caregiver for my mom. Love seeing all the projects you both do! Happy stitching!
Thanks for great video - always enjoy watching you - my husband is from Minnesota and we love listening to you both talk and the weather which we don’t miss living in Florida. Have a wonderful holiday season
Another great video Jeannie and LeAnn. I also have to frog if I have a cross stitch mistake LeAnn. I aim to have everything perfect or it bugs me big time if isn’t and it goes in time out for a while. Love the turtle tidbits.
I was happy to see a new episode from you sweet girls. I look forward to all your cross stitch projects and your quilts. Thanks for showing your bag parade. I got some good ideas ❤ Have a great Thanksgiving 🦃
Thank you for your videos, they always put me in my happy place. Loved the bag parade! FYI: I recently ran across the Fabulous House Series, the first, Santa's House, comes out in December, and I just can't wait! 🤩
@@jeanniebergdahl1901 I'm thinking of doing about nine of them as singles. Didn't realize though, they're going to be small, 6 1/2" X 6 1/2", so maybe nine inches framed? Anyway, I'm notoriously unreliable when it comes to finishing quilting or stitching, always chasing after the next thing. Now it's a picture of a big fat cardinal in one of Brenda Gervais' latest designs. OMG! I just HAD to have that cardinal pattern. I looked and looked all day online yesterday until I finally found it for sale.
And yes, you read that right, I'm 75 and not tech savvy, and yesterday was Thanksgiving. Hubby smoked the turkey and I had my can opener ready for the cranberry sauce.
@@littlejoan7473 sometimes the hunt is as fun as the stitching. I need to be in the finishing mood to do my. Good luck and enjoy whatever part of the process you are doing.
I love your videos!!! Thank you for making them. I have no favorite parts - just everything. I hope you get a lot accomplished this next month and I look forward to watching you two (plus the cat and the turtles too).
Just found your channel and really enjoyed watching you. Yall are so informative and interesting. Loved the kitty, his coloring is beautiful with the black heart on his back very unusual. Will be watching a lot more of your videos. Have a wonderful holiday.
You guys are such fun. I laugh and smile a lot watching you. Helps we’re around the same age too! All of your finishes and fully finished are beautiful. Thanks for the turtle tip and showing the sweet baby one. Happy stitching and have a great Thanksgiving 🦃
Always look forward to your videos. Im 84 and still have so many cross stitch patterns i want to do. They keep coming out with new patterns and i just cant resist.
Wow! How have I missed you too? I believe I found you through the recovering monogamous stitcher and I’m so glad I did. I love Crosstitch and quilting. I am a big animal advocate and I am so glad to have watched you today and I will have to go back and get all caught up. Have a blessed Thanksgiving and I’ll look forward to many more videos.🎉
Jeannie and LeAnne...you two are so sweet and delightful...loved all you shared...your project bags are awesome...love hearing about your turtles ...best wishes and Happy Thanksgiving ❤❤
Hi girls. Just love all the goodies you showed today. I wish I could come up and have you show me how to make project bags. Learning how to make them is on my bucket list. I try to watch videos but I think I need tutoring. They are all adorable. Thank you for the turtle tidbits. It’s always so interesting. Jeannie your finish is stunning. Have a wonderful thanksgiving and I will visit again soon. ❤❤
Thank you! I'm watching you guys right now! Love your videos! If you lived closer, we could have you come to one of our bag making days!😊 Happy Thanksgiving!
Another fun video with so much wonderful content! Your project bags are beautiful, I love the use of vintage linens. I always enjoy your quilt projects and plans. Turtle Tidbits are interesting. Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃
LeAnn, You made me laugh out loud when you said you would have your kids put a sewing machine in front of you when you are in the home. It reminded me of my grandmother. She would sew and sew, but she didn't know what she was making. She also used to hide her scissors because she was convinced that someone was coming into the house at night, stealing her scissors. I'm sure she couldn't find them because she had hidden them. I remember buying her a pair after getting so frustrated at not being able to find them. If it comes to that, I hope we both land in the same home. Happy stitching. Best, K
Now you made me laugh out loud, Karen! I hope in selling your home in Florida gives you much more time to sew! Quilting is still my first love, and I can't imagine my life without it! Happy Thanksgiving!
I really enjoy your videos! You two ladies are so much fun to watch. So much talent and love the differences between you two. Willow is so precious. I laugh when her tail goes waving by. The turtles and turtle information is very interesting. Your special friendship shines. Thanks for sharing yourselves.
I always smile when I see a new upload by Loose Threads. The kitten with the heart was wanting some love. Okay…you have me convinced…I am going to start cutting up the runners to make project bags…I love your bag parades and turtle time. Those small finishes are adorable and wow…cutting frames and having it work is great.
Beautiful stitching and finishing ladies!! Love the bag parade!!😻. Happy Thanksgiving!!🦃Turtle tidbits are so interesting, where do you keep the baby turtles??
Thank you! I keep the baby albino in a 20 gallon turtle tank. All other babies are Western Painted Turtles, which are native to MN so I let them go as soon as I see they are healthy.
I really LOVE your videos and enjoy everything you two talented ladies create and make. I totally agree. I am 67 and it's now or never to get busy and get things done in my sewing room. I am not sure how we got this old so fast, but time needs to slow down. I still have lot's on my to-do list, but need more hours in the day to get things done. Wishing you both and your families a very Happy Thanksgiving. Hugs
Thank you. Yes you reach an age where you just want to do things you like not what you have to do. Gotta get your “work” done right away and then you can have the “rewards” of things you like and want to do. Happy thanksgiving!!
Yes, my primary Dr. does the skin checks but this time she referred me to a dermatologists to start annual check ups and that is when the cancer was found.
It’s always a great day when you two post a new video. Loved all the bags. Jeannie, when you used the Lori Holt bag panel did you put it together so you have no exposed seams? I haven’t bought her bag panels because I didn’t like the way they were constructed with raw seams inside.

Because of my vision issues I use 1-ct Aida. I dye it sometimes too.
Sounds like you don’t let things stop you from doing what you want to do. Do what you enjoy.
