I can definitely see why this art was protested. It's hard to believe someone who can't experience misogyny and the commodification of women but is instead part of the group that does these things or these things are done for them. And the high price he fetched just seems like he commodified the commidification of women. I just dont see how a man creating women as furniture is any kind of rebellion against the status quo. It definitely seems to reinforce it, regardless of his intentions. Thanks for covering this!
