Stuart, this is heaven sent. i have been looking for ways to raise my bar and considered even replacing the bars. This video has solved my problem without totally altering the classic look of my interceptor 650. Thank you Stuart!

Hi John , have the same bike as you guys INT 650 and feel the same but I haven't buy it yet. Do you need to change any bolts especially the long bolts, because the on that connect as it is now is 14 mm head flange x m10 ?. DO you need to modified something ?

Spent 6 hrs in the saddle yesterday with my new Motone risers, OMG! They have changed my whole riding experience. They put the bars just high and far back enough that my 6' body was in a hugely better riding position. Best 180.00 spent ever.
Thank you Stuart for your informative and concise video's!

Those risers look really classy. Tech bike parts do front suspension improvement that requires risers, the risers they have been using didn’t do anything for me, so I had dismissed doing the mod. These beauties really look the part, so at some point I will be looking into the upgrade. Cheers, Stuart.

Stuart, one thing that was obvious from the close up details of the bar risers is the inclusion of blend radii and chamfering on the finished part. To me this speaks volumes about the design ethos that has been employed in the design and manufacture of these items. This type of finishing takes up valuable manufacturing time but improves the ascetic appeal and its fitness for purpose.

Great video Mr Fillingham. I just received mine here in Canada, thanks in a roundabout way to you. I can confirm they are very nicely made and expensive. Mine however, do not have stainless steel main bolts but galvanized steel - upshot? they're probably stronger than stainless (in my experience).

I agree if you were looking to get risers for your bars they're is no better choice then then Motone Customes up and over one's. Yes they are cheaper one's you can buy but those are also cheaper looking as well. I also put these on my Interceptor from watching your video Uncle Stu. Changed the bars as well to a Renthal handlebar which is a big weight saving, the stock bars are much heavier .Much more room under the clocks like you said and more important for the future shock upgrade in the spring they will be no issue at adjusting preload with YSS upgrade. Keep up the good work Stuart cheers mate.

Uncle Stu on your recommendation I bought some of these risers, and they were great, unfortunetly I came off on an hairpin bend, and the only damage to my Interceptor was bent handlebars but the risers saved any other damage to the steering, but it did bend the bolts, apparently the main bolts were not stainless steel, I have now replaced the bolts with stainless bolts and stainless washers and new handlebars and I would not want to be without them so Iam a happy Biker Regards BM

I've just done the same coming off in a car park at very slow speed on grass. Bike dropped onto the handlebar and the Motone riser bolt bent. I'm not sure stainless steel is any stronger though?

Another cracking product and delivered expertly as always Stuart. May I suggest only using a single ignition key on a fob that has no other metallic parts attached to it ie other 'Lock Keys' etc or indeed a metallic 'Manufacturer's Crest' etc. The amount of Bikes that suffer chips/damage to the underside of the Handlebars, the Top Yoke paintwork or anodising is something that can be completely eliminated by keeping said items separately on another fob in your zipped pocket or Tank Bag safely out of harms way. Just a suggestion buddy.... the area all around my ignition still looks like new on my bike and I hope by sharing this it may help those that hadn't considered the idea and before it's too late any damage rears its ugly head if you get my drift lol.

Agreed 100% - l carry my ignition key on a nylon fob and a separate carabiner fob for the fuel cap key, steering lock key, garage key then re-attach the ignition key to the carabiner after riding, no nasty scratches on my T100!

I had some issues with the seating position during the initial break in period. I thought of installing handle bar raisers on my Interceptor, but as i continued riding I got used to it. Last week I did a trip of around 1400 Km (along with my friends on triumphs and Kawasaki) with the stock seat and handlebar setup. Surprisingly did not have serious issues. I agree that it is not the most comfortable place to be but it is not bad either.
So I'm dropping the idea of getting raisers for now.
I also see that you have touring seat on your bike, any review of that coming up?? forgot to mention, nice video as usual!! :-)

Brother Stuart, I don't know if you monitor your old videos but: I just got my motones and on attempting to install immediately it was apparent there was not enough length on the throttle cables. I didn't take the tank off to see if there was any slack anywhere to be had, I just put the bars back on the originals. Wondering if my 2022 INT is different in that regard - have you heard anything? Do you think there might indeed be slack available? Your thoughts would be welcome.

Those risers really do look nice on the INT 650. How did they change the handling feel of the bike? I have never added custom components to a bike, and I was just wondering about what effect there is on handling, when the bars are moved forward, or back, in relation to the riser tube.
I experienced wheel wobble once, while riding, and so I worry about how changing the bar position may affect the chances of inducing wheel wobble.

Because I feel the manufacturer tests extensively regarding the riders position

    • @stuartfillingham

Hello Stuart, your videos have been very helpful. I have owned my Interceptor for about a week now, and was looking into options for bar risers, with minimal impact on the style of the motorcycle. These look spot on, but unfortunately, from my research, seem to have been discontinued. Do you have any similar suggestions?

Hi Stuart. That was a good video. The risers are brilliant. They will sort out my 'reach' issue, I am 166 cms. Iam making efforts to reduce the total weight of my Interceptor. Changing the exhaust cans reduces 6.5 kg. I noticed the stock handle bar is excellent but quite heavy! I could probably reduce 2-3 kg with another bar. Any recommendations. Thanks very much. Shashi.

I HATE the Bonneville bobber. Honda rebels look better and that's not saying much.

Great channel , but please don't get carried away swapping bits on your Enfield just for the sake of it. Or just to make a video.
