from vienna you should come to brno and then head to prague. you are gonna love it, brno christmas market of cause is smaller than viennas but is super cute trast me.
Hi Andrew and Kait, My wife and I are heading to Vienna and Salzburg in 2 weeks for the Christmas markets. Were all the Markets in Vienna open? How was the selection of hand crafted ornaments. Recommendations for food in Vienna would be appreciated. Hope you have an amazing time, love the video thank you for sharing. What other markets are you guys going to? We have been to a lot of them in Europe. Cheers!
How exciting! I Hope y’all love It! No, not all of them were open yet, just these 4, but some more open this weekend and it seems like all of them will be open by the 24th. There are so many beautifully made ornaments! Especially at the AKH campus market from what I recall. Bratz, Wiener Schnitzel, Sacher cake, and Cafe Melange (coffee) are all must tries! We’re going to Budapest’s Markets this weekend and then hoping around eastern Germany for most of the rest of them! And then hitting Copenhagen right before we head back to the states to visit our families for Christmas. Have a great trip!
@@AndrewandKait Awesome thank you so much for the info. We loved the Brats and Sausage in Germany. You said these were better in the video I can't wait to try them. I hope you have an amazing time, can't wait to see the rest of the video's. I heard Copenhagen was gorgeous but very cold like 9 degree's Fahrenheit when my friend went in 2018. Hope you guys have an amazing rest of your trip and can't wait to see the videos.
Absolutely! We always suggest learning key phrases like "Hello" "Thank You" and "Please" in any place you visit, but you can definitely get by with English and gesturing when needed. We also suggest downloading google translate that can help with longer conversations if needed. Thanks for watching!!
Bigger Christmas markets are not always better, especially when 1. it gets too crowded to enjoy the stalls 2. all stalls sell the same mass-produced goods instead of local handcrafts. There are also many smaller, cozier markets in small towns/castles/forests/lakeside/mountains, which you could try to mix in for your trip
Heading there next month. Can't wait
Oh Amazing! You will love it. 😊
