Great tip about the grass getting caught under the car, not something i would have thought about 👍 love ya spirit level for camp & helping out a follow 4x4er. 🤜🤛
Foster beach is nice as is dillon bay which is on the way in to foster. Can also get to reef beach from fosters through bush tracks but its very over grown!!! Beautiful area around there and good fishing year round have done alot of exploring around there and love it!!!!
Great episode, I love following along on your series. Ha, they were lucky you were noce enough to go get them out😂 I wonder if they knew they were gonna end up in the toob!!
Gday, I found your videos recently and really like it them. Im from WA and it’s motivating/inspiring watching your vids, I also like your gear reviews. I drive on the beach almost daily and recently got an ARB twin motor compressor, and they are a game changer, pumps your Tyres up in about a minute - they are expensive, but worth the money if your putting pressure up and down all the time. Anyway, travel safe 🤙
Hey mate, really well! I've been recording the front tyre wear vs km since steering knuckles were installed: 0KM: Outside: 8.5mm / Inside: 8.5mm 5000km: Outside: 8.05mm / Inside: 8.0mm 10000km: Outside: 7.6mm / Inside 7.5mm
Quick question. Are you happy with the power that the newer dmaxs produce? Ive driven some older dmaxs (2018 model) and i thought they were down on power compared to the older straight 4 and 5 cylinder ranger's etc. Just asking becauae ive got a mate whose considering buying.
The stock power is ok, definitely not as powerful as the others on the market but manageable even with all the weight. I recently had mine tuned which made a dramatic difference to all-round performance.
@explorebound interesting to hear. The dmaxs I had experience with ehere obviously 4x4 and they were automatic. I was doing subcontracting for this bloke who had two of them doing Rrural fencing. Loaded up with star pickets and strainers, etc. on the trailers, driving offroad, I found I had to rev them to 4000rpm to get anywhere in any timely manner. I'd say to the boss "jeez you really have to rev the hell out of these things" and he said, "Don't worry about it that's the the way they're meant to run". I don't know about that, but maybe a tune would have helped. Apart from the lack of power, they were solid offroad and were very stable towing.
We take flat bread on our camping trips, both long and short. Keeps well unrefrigerated and takes up next to no room. Edit: you can also get GF flat bread/taco.
Yeh, we carry flat bread as a backup, purely because it takes up no room plus just keeps so friggin well, then on occassions when our first choice of fresh bread goes mouldy, we have a decent backup, haha. Great advise for others.
Best spirit level ever ❤

Another good video. Great places you've been going to. 😊
We were in Bremer Bay on New Years Day, what a little gem of a place. We enjoyed lunch at the Brewery
Great video, I wouldn't have been happy being woke up at that time, lucky you were there
Haha, didn't share they saw in the new year rocking the DMax after the event.

But please, get Bianca a sharper knife for cutting that bacon! 😂
Thanks mate!! Haha that bacon is particulaly hard to cut, but yes we could definitely do with sharper knives too 😂
Great video beautiful beaches can you tell me what tyres do you have on the Dmax
Thanks! The tyres are Maxxis Razr AT811
You were brave to go for a swim, we had NYE in Esperance and it was freezing cold.
Try the all smalls for hanging things out to dry 👍
They looks great - thanks!
Hows the Bump Steer fix going on the front tyres? we ended up getting DMX GVM upgraded to 3670kg :-)
