Hey guys thanks a lot for spending the time to make videos for all of us. I'm going to be switching over to dobyns as soon as possible. God bless you and your families your pal fisherman Mike from Missouri. Ps guys that champion hp rod I think would be a good bottom contact rod for me thanks again I've seen many of your videos and they are very good, u know what I like about dobyns rod is how extremely well balanced they are.

Found your channel while looking for dobyns content. Love the dobyns content! So the 746 is more sensitive than the 736? I would not have guessed that. My brother has two 766 champion flips (Fred roubanis version). He uses it for everything (jig, finesse, underspins and frogs 😂) I’ve been using my fury 703c for finesse worms and shakey heads. My 733c champion came yesterday and that will be my finesse worm and shaky head rod. Can’t wait to see how it performs.

I went all dobyns last year and now I’m all champ xp or higher for baitcast and 1 xp and 4 kadens for spinning. I actually prefer the kaden over the xp for spinning due to a faster action

I run Dobyns specifically and love them. From the Colt to the Champion XP. I have been trying to find a good top water rod for big spooks and poppers. Like a 1oz 1/4 - 1oz 1/2. Which rod should I get? I just picked up a Kayden that says heavy jigs, Carolina and can handle 1oz 1/2. It is too still for my liking for a big popper. Your help is much appreciated

The Colt 734 Handles the super spook just fine for me and i throw it with braid, if you where going much bigger the champXP734 would probably be a good option.

For that 746 flippin rod he says it's an XP. Isn't that the Extreme?

Does anyone have experience throwing the mike bucca 835 swimbait rod? I see lots of content on TH-cam for the 836 sb but not much on 835 sb. Thinking of using it to throw the black dog g2 shell cracker (4” 1.5 oz wake/ crank bait)
