    Confusion is promoted in society as a mechanism of control. There is nobody more controllable than a confused person. You spend all your time trying to "figure shit out" and there's no energy left over to challenge the system. Moreover we are often kept in the dark by the very people who purport to help us, as a way to keep us coming back to them for advice. We're trying to give people back what's rightfully theirs - your own freedom and personal power.

    I used to ask that part of myself that had anxiety why its anxious. It would just say i dont feel safe. Simple but i then would try to do what you said and mediate. It was a great tool but i never used it on anything else. Thank you for this. Im terrified at the moment about creating my storyboarding portfolio and getting rejected. Im going to work on this BBL.

    Habits that are chosen out of comfort not realizing that the comfort of sustaining the image you know yourself as... does only that. Where as your true preferences are only realized through the will of your heart, allowing yourself to be in a state of unconditional love. The state of being. Let go of measuring by seeing all as one. When you realize we are all equal, as one, you can let go of measuring reality in polarity.

    Hey guys did you maybe have a similar situation when you let go of something you feel like you let it go but after that there's more of that and it's just getting worse and worse.
    I am a basketball player and before the game i tried to let go of the anxiety bc of the game and i felt like i really let it go for a minute or two but then there's even more of it and it's just getting worse.
    If someone has this situation please share what you did.

    • @jetturbostore
      @jetturbostore 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It takes a long time to let go of a feeling . Just when you thought you 'let go of it ' , the feeling comes back even stronger . Its part of the process don't resist it and be with it , and just know that one day it actually will be gone , it just takes a while to fully accept it and own the anxiety - and therefore diminish it

    • @scottnelsonphotographs
      @scottnelsonphotographs 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Nah, it's totally easy & it takes only about half an hour to an hour. You push your back against something like a chair, grab your shoulder muscle, & lift shoulder into hand with counter pressure. Don't act like you know what's bothering you though, listen to your body in conversation. Ask your body where you got that feeling from. Lift shoulder into fingers & slowly allow it to release. Once you get response & recognize the pain, let it go. Let it happen. Relax the shoulder into it. Soon the tension will be gone & so will the feeling of pain. Works similar on neck except through more gentle massage. BOOM! PROBLEM SOLVED. Easy....Next...

    Our mind is trying to screw us on so many level, I just keep unveiling hidden layers to the point where I ask myself: can I trust my mind? Of course this is only the programming (the voice) that you should not trust or another way of saying is to audit every thought you have that stops you. But it can be tricky when you miss where it all goes haywire. When you identify with a thought you are not even aware of such as some of the examples that Julien had. On the other hand, you need to have authority over yourself by believing supportive / empowering thoughts.
