Temper movie was soo special movie for all NTR Jr. fans cause it just revived the actor in NTR rather than Hero NTR from right this movie he became very cautious about scripts and movie that he was going to do.
I think Temper is proof that Puri Jagannath should let someone else write his scripts or at the very least collab with another writer to write his scripts. Edit: Also a couple of interesting things to notice about Temper. The word temper is defined as “habit of mind, especially with respect to irritability or patience, outbursts of anger, or the like”. However temper can also mean “the degree of hardness and strength imparted to a metal, as by quenching, heat treatment, or cold working”. If you look at the character of Daya he is like a piece of metal. He starts out coldhearted, and corrupt. But as he comes across the different issues he is heated up or “tempered”, and the personal impact it has on him would be like hitting the heated metal with a hammer, and then cooling it. This process is repeated till he becomes a stronger and harder individual. You can actually see this physical process as well, in the background during Daya’s introduction where he chases the man who he shoots in the leg. It’s honestly some brilliant writing.

You should watch the Telugu film Kick originally released in 2009 starring Ravi Teja in the lead role. It was written by the same writer who wrote this film. If you want to check out other movies by the director of this film, check out the 2012 film Businessman starring Mahesh Babu in the lead role.

Intrestingly Ntr did a similar type of movie even before this called Rakhi where the story revolves around his sister. Easily one of the more critically acclaimed films in NTR's career ( minus his looks). do check it out.

I am recommending these since either the actors or the directors really created landmark with these movies and have great music too. You should watch more of Puri Jagannath's (the director) movies. All his movies feature a protagonist that has fairly gray and even bad vibes at the start, yet it all comes together at the end. Pretty entertaining stuff. If you enjoyed this movie, watch Businessman which was directed by the same director. It features Mahesh Babu and features a fairly similar protagonist that has a questionable character.
