Wow! Finally someone with the same hair texture and edges as mine. Some yt videos I’ve seen can be quite discouraging because I know my hair wouldn’t have the same turnout as theirs. I’ve tried everything for my edges to look fuller (rice water, black castor oil, peppermint oil, etc), yet nothing. You just made me appreciate my hair the way it is. I love these styles 💜💜💜💜

I'm So Excited about that style, because it'll be something New for me to try and I think it'll look Cute on me as well. So Thank you😊😊. Also that one where you put a braided piece on top as well, that was Awesome. Those 2 styles seemed Simple, but I Never thought of doing either of them on me. So I'm feeling Confident about it. My first time on your channel! I've had relaxed hair since the age of 14... Big chopped about 2 months ago 😱. I'm soooooo glad I did! Look 1 and look 5 are my fave's... I subscribed. I like your personality already. ☺
You gotta be careful with all the edgework. Even if you are being gentle something as simple as rubbing and brushing gel down and putting a band on it can cause tension on the front of your head and push your hairline back and it will make the hair in front seem thinner. We gotta let these edges be. If you put in a weave, slick 'em down, straight wig, slay those edges! But if it's your hair and it's kinky-coily it's ok for you edges to be so as well. I'll take full shaggy over thin and flat any day. I just did my second big chop after 4 years of being natural and there are a lot of things I will do differently this time.

You can also smooth your edges with a soft brush or your fingers without damaging them if the gel is heavy enough.
I agree. I love my thin edges in its natural state. Sick of this baby hair slick. The less I fuss over it, the quicker & stronger it grows.
