This is for my Disney World fans: Check out an awesome channel @disfarers They cover everything from attractions, resorts, restaurants, and key people from historic disney. For more information about the restaurant space 220 we showed in this video check out @disfarers that made a full documentary on Space 220 Space 220 video th-cam.com/video/3pMyW3bZ_Dc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=HzJYfCHyZSgjoVjd I first discovered disfarers after watching behind the attraction on Disney plus. I was so fascinated on how attractions worked. I then took to TH-cam for similar content and found their channel. The first video on disfarers I watched was Tower of Terror and how it works. Can't wait for your next video at the Fort. This place never gets old. There's just something about this place. When we go we never go to the parks and spend it all the campground.
I have 1 more currently working on. We have a trip scheduled for next year and i’ll get a ton of content. I’m amazed that this series has done so well. Next year i’ll get even more content and cover different things or expand on some topics. Thanks for watching again!
As far as the RV sites soon being a thing of the past? I absolutely agree with you. Simply because it is the cheapest way to enjoy Fort Wilderness.😢 Great video btw.👍
Thank you! Glad I was not the only one thinking that. I just worry the executives may see a way to make more money. Maybe that will be 20 years from now 🤞🏻
They make pretty good money off the campsites and don't have to worry about building maintenance after someone leaves. I think it's here to stay. Where there is money is near the trails end quick service, they are building a new resort over there. Along with the new dvc cabins that's where they will make more money for DVC.
I’m glad to hear that! Rving is only going to get more popular as its growing. So the demand will only go higher which may mean we might have to work harder to get campsites lol.
I appreciate your optimism!!! You’re so right a lot of cost in upkeep in a building. A building takes way more money than a concrete pad to maintain. Hopefully the cabin loops they currently have will be enough. But if i was to say i think that loops 100 and 200 might go to cabins just because they have two model cabins in loop 200 now. It would be close to the up and coming Reflections DVC resort too. (What we believe is reflections who knows). I wanted to think maybe the tent pop-up sites on loop 2000 would go cabins but those site don’t have sewer from what I understand,so that would be a big infrastructure cost there.
By the way, the cabins, as part of the DVC is not selling well. Actually it's not selling well at all. The new resort being built next to trails end is going to be part of this resort. The campsites for now are actually pretty safe, only reason is because they make a lot of money off the sites. It's very low maintenance and they are not cheap. And you are right, based on current execs, the rv sites are not safe. But because it makes them money and it's low cost that may help them. Either way we will camp there they chance we get. Have our September Fort trip already set up. And we're using dvc rental website for next year and staying at Wilderness Lodge. Great video showing how great and amazing Fort Wilderness is.
I’m glad to hear that about the cabins. I never thought about that the campsites are easy to maintain unlike a cabin. This may be the saving grace. Plus its very popular so that will help to. I wonder where the construction of the 10 story resort will be next September?
September is a great time to visit. The crowds are very low and the campground is not that busy. The weekend locals come out on the weekends but its not to busy. Its hot in Florida then but Disney has ways to keep cool. The prices are the lowest of the entire year for resorts and the fort too. If you go during December the rates triple at the fort, we researched that. The same trip we did this time for 2 weeks cost the exact same as less than a week in December. Demand is what dictates prices at Disney and thats a prime example. Maybe I wont influence to many to go in September, LOL, to keep those prices down.
Now I know thanks! Next time I’ll use my magic band. We never leave we use the transportation. We left to go fill the truck up and when we came back it shocked me. I wish i had filmed it, I just was not expecting it.
Right I knew DVC members can use points anywhere on disney properties. Which is cool! I just don’t want to see DVC own all of it so it makes it tough or almost impossible for people like us to get into a campsite.

By the way, the easiest way to come back in is to use your magic band or ask for a key card. It's a lot easier than using the phone.

DVC members can already use their points to rent campsites. That's how we are planning our first trip to the campground using our points.
