I have been nursing a little adventure I want to run for my friends and always chicken out in the end. This kinda talk and hearing that every one gets nervous is so helpful 😊
Awesome positive new DM guiide. I like how you have the video broken up into titled chapters, so people can jump to part of the video that relate to them.
The number 1 thing that kills my interest in continuing a game is "how did my players get here?" Several times, I've gotten my friends together, we've played one session, and thereafter I lose all interest in continuing because my players' characters haven't meshed with the concept. They made characters and chose a background for those characters, but otherwise, the characters just showed up with little to no motivation. That cat wrangling drains the passion right out of me
Is that a huge printed out map of your game world that is taking up the entire backwall? That's so insanely cool!

You got this! Your friends will love it!
Hey. First time watcher, I’m loving the channel. I’m a new/baby DM and I appreciate all the encouragements.
Wow! Your channel is so massively underrated! Keep up the good work!
You are really giving me all the courage I need to actually stop procrastinating and just start playing
You've got this, man. You've got no excuse!
Yea, 'perfect' held me back for so long with DnD. Saying I over prepare is an understatment.
I mean, I prepare so, so, so much. Like a lot. But even with the volume, I apply that mantra. My prep doesn't need to be perfect, just actionable!
0:28 Ha! Did this as a challenge in one of the games I DM'd!
The "dice tower" collapsed, of course. xD
9:56 You may be "too nerdy", but I subbed for it. 🤓
Is that Tiamat in the background? That's scary!

I skip through videos so much when I watch on youtube, so I get it! :D
Wow, thank you so much for this vid! Gonna go over the material right now!
Thanks for watching!
