💕😀xx thanks Sarah. Your cardigan will be lovely when it’s finished. 🥰
Hi Sue. Thanks for watching. Only have the sleeves to do now. Really happy with it 😊
Love your floozie cardi Sarah ❤️. Also, your baby blanket looks gorgeous 💕. The sock yarn & pattern is so lovely, it reminds me of the feather & fan pattern, which I have used for so many baby jumpers & cardigans. The pattern is so easy & looks so pretty. Always so lovely to see you Sarah & enjoy all your podcasts so much. Till next time, cheers 😍💕❤️👏🥰🤗
Hi Joan. Thanks for watching and all your kind comments. Glad you enjoy my simple videos 😊

Hi Mel. Thanks for watching. Has a great day at knitting and stitching show 😊
Pretty socks. Enjoy your outings and do hope you find some lovely fabric. A quilted jacket sounds lovely. X💕
Hi Barbara. Thanks for watching and your generous Kofi donation. Had a great day at the knitting and stitching show 😊
Oh, your cardigan is absolutely beautiful. I don't find it too busy at all, and that gorgeous color really suits you. I can't wait to see it finished! I so enjoy your videos and needed your calm and soothing voice this morning here in Florida. I appreciate your podcasts very much. Enjoy all of the yarny goodness coming up and be well!
Hi Linda. Thanks so much for watching and your lovely comment. Glad you enjoy my simple videos 😊
Hi Sarah I love the Floozy, can’t wait to see it finished.
Hi Jan. thanks for watching. Only have the sleeves to do now. Really happy with it 😊
Lovely to catch up Sarah, I think your Floozy is going to be gorgeous! I have lost my knitting mojo this week, but I’ve cast on some fun socks so I think it will help! I’ve got the Sudley but never made it. It is frustrating when you spend hours on a project to get not quite what you hoped for. It looks lovely, but you have to feel good in it yourself, I know 😊xx
Hi Eva. Hope the sock gives you some pleasure. I always check the finished measurements of a pattern too. Might just need to size down a bit 😊
The cardigan is so pretty!! Turquoise is my favorite color! Sounds like you have a plan. It’s not too busy at all. The socks are lovely. Beautiful work on the darling baby blanket! I’m into socks at the moment. Have a top on the needles but I’ve been focused on a couple of pairs of socks. Haven’t lost my mojo just have lots going on and so much to do around the house.
Hi Evie. Thanks for watching. Really happy with my cardi now. Finished the hem and button bands. Just the sleeves to do 😊
Hello, Sarah. Your baby blanket is lovely. I must check out that pattern. Thank you for sharing. Your cardigan is really beautiful. I love those colours. Looking forward to seeing the finished garment. Enjoy your weekend at Lay Family Yarn and the day out with your sister at Alexandra Palace. x
Hi Pamela. Thanks for watching. Had a great day at the show today 😊
Hi Sarah, it seems that you’ve got your mojo back when talking about finishing your cardigan, can’t wait to see it finished as I know it’s going to be lovely 😊
Hi Jackie. Thanks for watching. I definitely couldn’t stop knitting after the podcast. Only have the sleeves to do. Love it 😊
❤❤that sweater going to be 😍😍 lovely ,,
Sweet socks,,,
Must check out that pattern,
Lovely to catch up
ELAINE 🏠💗
Hi Elaine. Thanks for watching. Only have the sleeves to do now. Love it 😊
Such a nice catch-up, Sarah! I was casting on a new pair of socks while I watched. My knitting mojo has been good lately but it definitely can ebb and flow.
I hope you enjoy your upcoming events and I can’t wait to hear all about them :)
Hi and thanks for watching. Lovely to hear you casting on as you watch 😊
A lovely podcast Sarah and maybe if you finish the sleeves next on your cardigan you will see how much yarn you have to finish the main part. I’m going to Ally Pally on Friday and beyond excited. I want to get some yarn to make the Daft Days Cardigan that Becky, Back to Blighty is making, plus a lot more things I didn’t know I needed😂
I came to the comments to suggest doing the sleeves first 👍🏻
Hi Penny. Thanks for watching. Went to the show today and didn’t see you! Hope you had a great time 😊
Hi Allie. Thanks for watching. I prefer to have shorter sleeves and get the hem the right length. It’s looking good. Just the sleeves to do now 😊
@@yarnmugspodcast9123 I did look out for you, but it would have been sheer luck if I’d seen you as it was so busy 😀
Love all your projects, especially the cardigan. Beautiful colours xx
Hi Lucy. Thanks for watching. I’ve finished the hem and button bands and love it too 😊
I enjoy seeing your beautiful projects. It's all so lovely.
Hi Anna. Thanks for watching and your kind comments 😊
Lovely work, I love the cardigan and baby blanket. I can knit but as much as I try crocheting is a mystery. I'm going to the same show but the Harrogate one. I'm in Farnworth, Bolton Greater Manchester area, so that's closer to me. I go to a knit n natter group at my local library. Generally, the ladies are older than me, but they've welcomed me. It's a good way of socialising. Enjoy the show with your sister ❤❤❤
Hi. Thanks for watching. The knitting and stitching show was great. Enjoy when you go 😊
@yarnmugspodcast9123 Glad you had a good time ❤️
Lovely projects
Hi Glenda. Thanks for watching and your kind comments 😊
I am not a garment knitter, but I had a thought that you could finish your sleeves and then come back to the body.
Hi Laura. Thanks for watching. I tend to prefer the right length for the hem and make do with shorter sleeves. Really happy with it now 😊
Mosaic!
Hi Sara. Thanks for watching. Yes! Mosaic 😊
Lovely to see all your projects. With regard to your dress, you mentioned that it was a size 16-18 and your usual size, I am wondering that sizing is based on your UK size or US. Our sizing here is much different than UK and a 16-18 in UK size would be a 12-14 in US. Maybe that is why it came out so big?
Hi Patricia. Thanks for watching and your interesting thoughts on the dress size. I tend to go by the finished garment measurements stated but sometimes the fit is still off 😊
Would you consider taking us along with your retreat and festival antics with your sister?
Hi Laura. I went to the knitting and stitching show yesterday, so will share bits on my vlog 😊
Hi Sarah, it’s so disappointing when your dress doesn’t fit well, after all the work, but a cardi cinches it in a bit so you get wear out of it. Your new cardi is coming along. I think it’s the 3rd I’ve seen you make from left over yarn, with worrying about yarn chicken and length. Brave girl. Nice baby blanket. I’m just finishing my 4th - in a row as in I’ve knit 4 blankets one after the other! I think my daughter is selling them thru an Etsy shop she has. She gave me the yarn and as I have to knit for my sanity I don’t really mind. I’ll be glad to knit something else though. 🤪. I’ll be on the look out for your usual Friday vlog. See you then.
Hi and thanks for watching. Wow to think your blankets are being bought by someone to enjoy them. Well done you 😊
I love the colour of your dress fabric and the pattern is potentially gorgeous but I agree with you it is too big. I think the problem lies with the double gauze which looks to have stretched out. Try washing the dress then, don’t iron it but hold the iron just over the fabric and give it a blast of steam. The fabric should then gather itself up into little bubbles. I had the same issue when making an Indigo dress and didn’t know about this technique. Parts of the dress are languishing in the naughty box while others have been cannibalised for other projects.
Hi. Thanks for watching and your useful comments about double gauze. I’ve washed it and it looks lovely and crinkly. I’ll give it a try on 😊
Could you do the sleeves first and then use the remaining yarn at the hum? Is "mosaic" the word?
Hi Marsha. Thanks for watching. Yes it’s mosaic knitting! I’d rather have shorter sleeves and get the hem length how I like it. It’s looking good. Just the sleeves to do now 😊
put the body of the cardigan on hold and knit the sleeves
Hi and thanks for watching. I tend to prefer shorter sleeves but get the body the length I want. Only have the sleeves to do now and so happy with it 😊
Thankyou for a lovely podcast Sarah. Maybe you’re not the size you think you are? I had a friend who was a full two sizes smaller than what her brain was telling her! Do you think the beautiful baby blanket would be suitable for a beginner? I’m a granny square lover and I’ve done one other simple pattern. Take care Sarah. Xx
Hi Carolyn. Thanks for watching. Sometimes patterns don’t seem to reflect the finished garment size suggested. I think the dainty diamond blanket pattern is beginner friendly. The only thing I do differently is I don’t turn my work. I just go round and round. Let me know how you get on 😊
