I making my cardigan right now (like almost a ear to late but you know who cares). I'm onl a little bit insecure about the neck piece thing. I dont want it like yours but just a "normal" neckband, but I hope it works out. I made my squares a little bit bigger then ours, so my back only needed 4 by 5 squares, so my front is 2 by 5 , so i hope it all works out. sorry for the bad english, I'm dutch, so i hope you understud(?).

I just read another pattern and she used the 12 X14 or possibly 12x12 ( for less puffy sleeves) just on the sleeves, and 12X14 around the top back and top front ( just like this awesome artist does above ). The wrist is measured to your own desired wrist . The sleeve is pinched together with a basic “in and out sewing stitch” with an opposite color yarn. Then you see sleeve wrist on...when you’re done, remove the sewing stitch. I think the slip stitch to connect the squares is much neater... Zaire please give me your opinion 🙂. I guess it’s all trial and error! But I think I almost have a fitted perfection ! ( size Medium- large...loose 125- 145 lb Woman) . Thanks Ya’ll!!
My mistake, the original pattern, as well as Zaire, say small squares make the top row of the back and front panels. I’m making a smaller square for the sleeves 14x 12 or possibly. I’m using a slip stitch to connect. The neck piece stays the same as Zaire and the original. I’m not adding the red collar. I’ll post when I’m done! This is complicated but I will conquer it! Fun

You can use the same stitch for all of the colors, changing the stitches is just part of the design and what helps to make it look more like the original

So I've been making the cardigan based on the pdf and your video, but you said there is 12 oranges, 8 large, 3 small and a neck piece; but u said the small ones go in the bottom of the cardigan and I only see 2 oranges at the bottom :( so idk if it's 9 Large ones and 2 Small or just how u said it?
Hi! So the small ones go on top of the cardigan, they make first row on top
HALLELUJAH HALLELUJAH HALLELUJAH 💃💃💃💃💃🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🤸♀️🤸♀️🤸♀️🤸♀️🤸♀️🤸♀️🤸♀️🤸♀️🤸♀️🤸♀️🤸♀️🤸♀️🤸♀️FINISHED IT🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳THANK-YOU LORD
Looks wonderful! However with all that work you will have to be careful when you clean it because of the different types of yarns used together. Often different yarns will shrink or stretch at different rates and conditions. Sometimes it’s good to stick to one brand in each garment.
I can’t find anything about the red and black pattern on the squares hmm how do i do it? :)
Yes the I have same question about it?? Zairaaa....dear....
Where do the smaller pieces go?
She answered it in another comment!! The small ones go on the top row of the back!!!
juls b thanks!
Hey! It looks amazing :) Just wondering what size hook did you use and type of wool? Thanks! Can't wait to start mine :)
artchild707 thank you! I used acrylic medium size yarn, and I used a 5.00mm hook for most except the red and b/r squares for those I used a 5.75mm
if i want to make it smaller, what should i do ?
I would say take one or two centimeters, maybe more depending on how much smaller you want it, from each side of the squares
@@ZairaAranda oh okay thank you !!
Hi!! I have a question about the arm pieces. The graphic shows only 3×4 but yours look like 4×4... am I seeing crazy things? Lol
but did you use cotton or wool?
