I think he’s just being ultra Realistic. I can think of so many people I was friends with through skating that I have no idea where 80 percent of them are now. The real ones stayed real and who knows what happened to the rest.
Plus what he’s saying about early supreme in the city was totally true, any outsiders weren’t tolerated. Shop kids would vibe you out. I found similar bs in most small subcultures with the exception of graffiti.
