- On any given day on the streets of Houston, you may encounter a slab car, better known as a 'Swanga'. With their high-gloss candy colored paint and shiny and pointy elbows sticking way out on each side, the cars are a sight to see - and hear! Slab cars were born in Houston in the 70's with the superfly, hip hop culture and remain one of the many Uniquely Houston must-sees.

@@runem4379 Yea, I like all cars.
The original word slab mint. A old school car (low rider) but with 83/84 sitting low on the street. Slowed loud n banging came later.

Yea
I am curious, how many people have been badly injured by these spinning blender blades that protrude out into the roadway?
Slab means so low it’s scarping the concrete slab
A slab is a old car with a chrome bumper. The drop oldsmobile 4:08 will never be a slab it's a woman car just like the Honda.
