@@HowtoFaithALife Totally off topic but, would you consider doing a video on how your Bible is holding up since having it rebound by Crew & Co? I know it has been awhile since you had it done and, I am curious on how it is doing. I'm considering having mine rebound and it is really chunky too, like yours.
Thank you, Dr. Dan Wallace!! I loved this series, definitely going to be rewatching these and taking notes. What a beautiful library and wonderful work he’s done! I also love that God uses all of our gifts to further His kingdom - like Dan’s son who made the writing animations!
Thank you for these videos featuring Dan Wallace. I found him a few years ago and have enjoyed any talks by him which I have been able to access on TH-cam. Every time I hear him talk, I get fired up with excitement for the history of the Bible. I also just found your channel about 4vdats ago and absolutely love it. Thank you!❤
I met a financial and trading consultant at a seminar back at Los Angeles later last year, where she was featured and interviewed and I reached out to her afterwards.
I didn't know much about trading and investing so I spoke to her about it, she then later introduced me to her platform where I and other people could invest and copy her trades techniques and patterns.
I love your channel sister! Thank you for helping me to learn more about Bible studying and having a relationship with God. The Lord has truly used you to help me so much Faith❤ thank you so much and God bless you and your family😊
I have loved this series, Faith! God knew his timing too, how perfect was it this series corresponded with what has been going on at large with Wes Huff? No coincidence!
Love watching your content. Have you found the Hebrew societal contextual connections yet? I'm new to this channel but I've found my Pastor has opened my eyes in understanding with Hebraic understanding of what Christ did and said very enlightening. Love your stuff and enthusiasm. Can't wait to try it on my Bible!!
I took a few online bi lical classes from Ted Hildebrant hes amazing and he always talks about Dan Wallace and if im correct he may have helped with the net bible as well! These scholars are amazing!! ❤❤
Hi Faith, I just discovered your channel today. Wonderful! So I am a 58-year-old woman and I have a friend who I have known since the first grade who lives here in the same town that I do. She is a Christian, but never reads her Bible. I am a Christian who has learning disabilities. I know that my friend truly truly believes in God, but I do see that a lot of of her relationship with God is experiential and emotional. By the way, her learning disabilities may be worse than mine. She has a great deal of trouble with comprehension. I would love to know where in the world to begin in the Bible and how to study it with her as we are considering getting together once a week just her and I to study God‘s word. I wasn’t sure if I should buy a Bible study online or where to start. I would like something where she and I each are encouraged to do a few minutes of Bible study on our own at home during the week. I’m a little stuck. I would love your advice. ❤
Hello! I have a question and if you can please guide me and help me I would love it. I’m a 16 yr old and I really want to start reading and studying the Bible. I’m a Cristian, and I used to go to church as a child but now, I rarely go. I really want to start going again, but never can. My grandparents are Catholics (my whole fathers side, although my dad and aunt and uncles switched the Christianity) and when I go up north to visit my grandma she talks to me about god and we read a ton of stuff together. So I sort of know a bit of catholicism. Anywho, my question is…faith, could you please give me some guidance on what bibles I could buy. I would prefer a bible that has a more modern day version (words) so I can understand without have to google the translation or meaning. I watched a video a while back talking about what types there are but I can’t really remember. Although I wouldn’t want a full modern day version because I would like some of the old words that to really grasp the feeling and knowledge. I hate to say I have a budget on a bible, it makes me feel so bad that I’m having to even put a budget on it, but if there’s a good quality bible under 50$ I would love it, therefore I can buy it. If there’s not any good bibles under 50$, could you still tell me some bibles because then I could save up money. I want to feel a stronger connection with god in my life. Also, if they could be bibles that I’m able to get online, too. I don’t have a car and my parents are always busy so I wouldn’t be able to go anywhere. Also I would prefer the Bible to be all of the chapters/books in one. If that’s even possible or a thing. If you could really help me I would love it and appreciate it so much. Thank you faith and god bless you. Even if I don’t get a bible I’m going to keep watching your videos because they help me so much. ❤❤❤ I’m very sorry if I didn’t make sense. I’m not that good with explaining and I don’t know a lot of the true words towards the Bible.
Faith, I am planning on purchasing your read the Bible in a year plan. And wanted to know if your videos you offer for Bible read along will offer all things (Bible context, literary technique, her/manunics? Terrible spelling) I assume so but to just be sure I’m looking forward to the next paycheck just to get into the word with your help. I have my Bible atlas, dictionary, and commentary but they are limited because you have the full resource library I can’t afford right now. ❤
first thing, in my mind, is to try and determine the biases of the early"textural critics", from say Spinoza to Schliermacher, to examine the validity of the conclusions that have been handed down as "Gospel", which at root isn't a textural critical question but a theological question.
It may be interesting to re-order the books in historical order ... it's the same reading, so, why not. How much animation has been done for pieces of the NT like this in existence? I think Wes Huff has said John has been most recently estimated to be written in 40AD but some put the date closer to 20AD. Wondering what Dr. W. has on that.
I’m quite curious where he’s drawing this older order of the Gospels from. I have enjoyed the topic and study of textual criticism for some time now and I enjoy reading the church fathers but I have not yet run into this alternative order of “Matt, Jn, Lk, Mk.” I didn’t think that the earliest complete codex manuscript had it arranged this way either so that is way I wonder where he’s drawing this new info from.
Hello! I'm a Christian. I'm a French bearded guy. I recently posted a video and 2 posts about makeup (in English). And I plan to post a new video about makeup. I have some interesting things to share. 🙂 PS: France is a country located in Europe.
while the video offers a glimpse into the world of textual criticism and the work of CSNTM, it (of course) also promotes a biased perspective that downplays the uncertainties and complexities of the biblical text. it subtly implies inerrancy (a theological assertion), overemphasizes the quantity of manuscripts, and selectively presents evidence to support a specific view of the Bible's reliability. the video's promotional tone and its focus on a single translation further undermine its objectivity.
Hey - these are fun videos. I had Dr. Wallace for Advanced Greek Grammar at DTS. He was an excellent teacher. I remember so many things from that class to this day (it was almost 20 years ago!). Also, I just posted a library tour video of my books. You may enjoy learning about some new resources: th-cam.com/video/ADeyWJLwOQ0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=yK7G-BTK5meuG0Fn

Fascinating! I'm so glad that he shared the animation with us, I actually shouted "whoa!" and had to stop the video. Lol.
This is absolutely fascinating!
I'm Catholic. I read works by scholars Fr. Raymond E. Brown and Fr. Joseph Fitzmyer
Please tackle, biblically, why Sunday is observed as Sabbath vs Saturday, the 7th day. That would be a great study!

I love your videos and amen girl
