Honestly, they come out right about 1/2 the time for me. I tend to overstuff them.

I've had my BGE for close to 10 years and all I have ever cooked on it were steaks, chops and finer cuts of meat. I just received my place setter/insert and pizza stone and looking forward to doing some baking and smoking. Thanks for the video(s)

The calzone blew its Fun Gasket. That's what happens when too much goodness is reached too quick. Blindfold taste test would still give you an A+.

Bacon and pineapple is better with giardiniera. Salty, sweet and spicy together. Actually pretty good but that's the only combo I enjoy pineapple with. You can also use jalapenos or any other pepper that you like.

Can I flip the diffuser and use it as the first pizza ceramic then put the ceramic pizza plate on it.
I wouldn't, it will heat the stone too much

Captain Ron does the dough for the Calzone and the dough you use for Pizza contain the same ingredients? I'm asking because the Calzone has to rise more than a Pizza does.
I use the same exact dough. Calzone dough is thin
How about how you would clean off the leaked calzone stuffing off of the stone?
Just let it burn off after done cooking.
That is a great idea and looks to be very tasty. Although I was unable to understand what was in the plastic container, as one of your ingredient. Do not be concerned about one breaking open. At times it happens to the best.

Hey Ron, great question. It was originally to get the pizza higher in the dome. I now use a conveggtor instead. It helps the top of the pizza cook better.
Do you use the ConvEGGtor with the two pizza stones?
Yes, absolutely, with the legs up. I have kind of since changed the way I set it up. Instaed of 2 pizza stones, i'll now put my conveggtor from the minimax on the grate, and then a pizza stone on top of that, It has worked out great for me. Any way to raide the stone up off of the grate will work.
