I attended the Front Row card show last weekend in Phoenix, and the turnout was incredible. Pokémon dominated the tables, creating a buzzing atmosphere. It was astonishing to see $100 bills changing hands so frequently! The Pokémon card collecting scene is truly thriving right now. Many are speculating about when this bull market might come to a close, but I personally believe the market remains robust and vibrant.
Now that everything is finally starting to go up, I'm excited to see where things go. I might take a swing at owning a ES booster box in the next few months. It doesn't make sense but I really want one for the collection. Maybe I'll do it. Haha I always love these videos and info you give. It's helped me grow my collection in a very healthy and happy environment. Sadly, I always feel like I need more. Haha it's just so much fun to chase and hunt.
Box breakers are and streaming apps are making it more difficult to get sealed product. On the flip side , all their breaking of packs also pump up sealed product prices. I just wonder if Pokémon Company will adjust for 2026 new set with the print runs and supply due to pack breaking which is relatively new. SV sets have been planned for years now so I don’t think they’re adjusting printing volume yet.
Scalpers? Would you sell me one of your sealed evolving skies booster boxes for the msrp of $143 please? No you wouldn’t, because you are a scalper too lol, just on a smaller scale maybe. If you weren’t, you would not be in this hobby at all lol.
Surprised about magic selling more than Pokémon when you go to card shows in Australia more than half the vendors are Pokémon and the rest is nba with a little bit of other sports and other tcg
People buy magic cards to play the game and their cigarette ashes and malt beverages (steel reserve) spill on their cards. They don’t collect cards to show their kids (magic was always lame). Pokemon cards- 25 years and I never learned how to play. I don’t ever intend to. I can show them and open them with my kid. My kid associates the characters with the Nintendo games. The 3% of pokemon collectors who know how to play the game make up that bar chart lol.
people appreciate buying pokemon in person .. i never can sell one peice or magic in person, i sell on tcg player all day long ... in person to random civilians they buy hundreds in pokemon
Hey there. New to the hobby. I don't understand why sealed products get so expensive compared to single cards. It seems you are buying the packs to get the desired single. Wouldn't it make more sense buying moonbreon, than spending $900 plus on a booster box which could leave you with a bunch of dollar cards? Pokemon market seems weird; single cards seem devalued.
As boxes get opened more singles come to market while less boxes are available. So as time goes on there are less booster boxes and more copies of said card.
Sealed product gets more valuable as supply dwindles. It is 100% smarter to buy a singular card then rip dozens or hundreds of packs chasing it if you are solely concerned with return value
@@kpark1762when a set first comes out a booster box is usually $90- $120. as time flys and supply dwindles the box prices goes up because the Pokémon company stop reprinting sets. Most sets go out of rotation in 2 years and that’s when they stop printing a set. Everyone is different some people rather physically pull that special card themselves than rather buying it graded or raw. It’s the experience and feeling I get pulling a super crazy card and grading it and getting a PSA 10.
The crash will happen when the easy money drys up. Once they start printing more and the price of new sets drop back to msrp the investor bros will move on until the next hype train.
@ tell me your new to the hobby without telling me your new to the hobby. Let me guess your collection consists of only sealed product from the sword/shield and scarlet/violet era 🤣
There’s no hope in cope. The guy’s just learning like I did since May of this year. Cut him some slack! He’ll catch on. He’s right about one thing already- buy low-sell high. This is the way-
@@lawdbo3426SV hasn’t been printed heavily. As far as we know there also haven’t been massive reprints like fusion strike. At this point no reason of any massive price drops on sealed product at least.

My daughter had braces planned for 1/15 but I told her I need to buy more lost origin boosters and she can wait a year. LFG
seriously hopefully this is a joke
Final fantasy tcg? Not in top 10?😅
Hopefully we don't crash soon lol things seem too good to be true
I hope it does it'll get the scalpers out.
I hope it does so I can buy up the big cards I've missed out on.
I hope it does, I want to rip packs when I feel like it and not hunt nonstop to find product or pay crazy prices

Probably because pokemon quality is bad so people want to see the card in person

@Gengar558 but what's the point of having a box? I guess people like to collect boxes in this hobby, instead of the actual cards in them?
@@kpark1762with rip and ship ppl can buy single packs, with the hope of hitting big
