I know this was 3 years ago but my younger brother has autism. So I kinda know how you feel. I always see him mistreated and it hurts to know that I can't do a lot for him due to age gap. But I try to help when I can. Just know that even if a paper says you have a disorder you are still you not the disorder label that was put on you.

This song hits much closer to home now that I'm an adult approaching 30, than it did during all of my angsty teenage years. When I was younger, I simply thought "yes this song is so true, nobody knows the pain I've been through." But as an adult, and especially considering the official music video, I realize they're saying that this is just what we think. In reality, we share the pain with everyone around us.
Pain is unique. But there's always someone out there that can relate.
