As someone who spent most of 2017 looking for an Usagi figure I am happy to see it on the list. I had to get mine at Retro Palooza. I was so happy about finding it I went up to your booth and told you about it.
Cowabunga Dude! Happy New Year! Awesome video dude. Some of my favorites of 2017 were: TMNT Halloween Turtles, the remake and repaint of Michelangelo's Sewer Skateboard, the Samurai Turtles and Usagi, Tales of the Turtles repaints (the four regular turtles and the four battle-shell turtles), and my favorite action figure of 2017 is Michelangelo (Michelangelo is and has been my favorite turtle. I have more Michelangelo figures than with the other three.) of the Super Shredder series. I wasn't able to get Raph Leo or Don but I was able to score on Mikey. Mostly my collection of toys are the Turtles. I do have other figures and toys like wrestling, Legos, dinosaurs, King Kong, Star Wars, and Marvel but mostly turtles. I used to have masters of the universe figures. Unfortunately I was forced to get rid of them because my mom thought they were ugly and she didn't like them. I still wish to this day that I still kept them. I hesitated of getting rid of them. That was back in 1992 when I had to get rid of them. I had a huge collection of them. But for now my TMNT collection has overpassed my Masters of the Universe collection. Masters of the Universe was my favorite cartoon before I saw the Turtles. But above all, nice job on the video.
Great list! I NEVER saw a Muckman on any store shelves around me in 2017...not once....he was my most anticipated TMNT figure by Playmates this year....and I definitely will not pay the crazy prices people are trying to scalp him for. Oh well...I'll continue to treasure my original Muckman from when I was a kid :D Happy New Year Dan!

Those Bucky O'Butthare figures look so amazing. and they are fairly proper scale to Figuarts and Figma figures. At least, I remember the human kid being a bit taller than them
Not sure if it didn't warrant consideration because most people got theirs in early 2018 rather than late 2017, but I thought the Kaiyodo Judy Hopps was amazing. A bit of a high price point for its size, but the detail and poseability were incredible. Really looking forward to getting the matching Nick Wilde next month to complete the set.
Oof, I don't know. I haven't even started working on it yet because I can't find the time. :-( It's gotta be this year some time. I'm tired of digging in boxes for the things I need.

l have to agree on this. The 1/4 scale turtles, though out of my pocket range at the moment, are some impressive looking figs indeed, the Disney Afternoon figs I have yet to see in person and on my want list, I need an Alien and the Mantis is high up there as my first Predator was a prize I won and needs something to fight as too many super powered trophies in my collection. Grail item in that Neca TMNT set for sure. Spider blue, still catchy theme.

That damn Muckman, never found one. But I did score the Neca 1/4 scale turtles and the sdcc exclusive turtle case set so I guess I can't complain to much. 2018 already looking good for toy collectors, Neca dropping some heat.
I really loved mad ball toys mini blind bags by just play . They were so cool and retro inspired. The batman animated clayface , super 7 and Funko's dark crystal toys were fantastic hard to find Neca superman vs Ali garbage pail kids mystery funko and Lego batman movie were my top toys

I have no idea. I wish I had some insight into what's going on with that figure. I saw him at retail here one time and never again. People contact me several times a week asking if I have one to sell, so I know the demand is high. I really wish more of him were available, but I have a feeling he's going to go down as the most sought after figure from this line now that it's over.

Brilliant vidio idea! URG playmates did screw us over in the 90s with the Adams family, didn't they? I wish Funko would do more rock candy than pop though. We so need supernatural action figures that aren't silly pops from some company, and as Funko is doing it all rock candy would do. Love the retro toys and so agree on the heman toys! Morticia
For me because I'm a die hard Transformers fan and the Titans Return line has just been really good my number 1 is kind of a three way tie between the lines Hotrod because he is my favorite TF of all time and even dow I have three different figures of him before this one it was the first one that really looked like the 86 movie that made me fall in love with him all the way back on Christmas 2006, the lines Overlord because he is one of my favorite TF villains and the figure was much better then I thought it would be and I just don't want to put it down and the other one being the titan class Trypticon because it is just an amazing piece that just really makes me happy Hasbro has been continuing to do these titan class figures with a new one each year and not just leaving Metroplex on his own.
I like the Spawn figure that came out and the other 2 That came out last year I think from the Color tops collection But all three have some serious QC issues unfortunately and that’s why they’re not on my list.
Though I love that Exclusive TMNT Neca Pack, the fact that Splinter wasn't included and they gave 2 Foot Soldiers just bothers me. Seriously, the Rat Sensei needs a good figure!
Yeah, nothing Star Wars really jumped out at me this year. At least, not enough to crack my "favorites" list. I enjoyed the vintage style card backs used for the 6" figures. But I actually left them all sealed as a result.
I don't own that one, but it's very cool looking for sure! I guess I consider the Playmobil one more of an actual playset. I also tend to put LEGO kn their own category, but an argument could be made either way!
I'll def add the tmnt set by Neca as one of the best of 2017 no doubt. Shredder did it all, However I'm a line fan, If they don't go all out and only make a few figures then to me it's kinda pointless to collect them. So I passed, I also passed on the Ultimate Skeletor just cause the original classics version was best and I already have keldor as well, To me as long as Super7 continue the classics line with cartoon figures I'll be good. In the meantime while they release these Ultimate's and filmation figures along with the SDCC stuff then I'll keep building my horde army and vehicles...

Voltron actually came out in December of 2016. I thought I included him on last year's countdown, but I guess not. He probably should have had at least an honorable mention here since he kind of rode the line between 2016 and 2017.

Going back to super articulation will help make the 3.75 Star Wars line a lot better. The reduction to 5 POA is what stopped me buying them.

Voltron actually came out in December of 2016. I thought I included him on last year's countdown, but I guess not. He probably should have had at least an honorable mention here since he kind of rode the line between 2016 and 2017.
