This should inspire you to start today not even wait for tomorrow! It can be done as you hear. How about trying to equal or surpass. I was once told that by my teacher and I have been practing like crazy. I bought a practice mute to keep others in my apartment from hearing everything before my public performance. Carole Paul Trombonist
Masterful. Those parts where you played the triplets or quadruplets softly while at the same time playing the theme over them, as if there were two instruments, had me shaking my head in admiration.
ola. sou musico, sou fã do trombone baixo. e ainda deste grande musico denson paul polardi. vc toca muito. queria tanto ter o sr. como professor. sou do sul do Brasil.
Great indeed - but you can't really compare a studio recording with a live concert situation. In the studio you can chop the piece into sections and replay each section until it's perfect. Don't misunderstand: Bob is great. But I'm sure there are really not many trombonists out there able to play this piece in one shot at the quality level as we can hear and see in this recording here. This one is absolutely fantastic!
@@1BioMarcoA player like Bob is well more than capable of playing this piece live flawlessly, but you’re right, it’s unfair to compare a professional recording to a video shot on a potato.
I am a trombone player as well, this is just one out of 5 solos I am to do as well since I am in the Florida State band. This is incredibly good especially for how young you are, this is great. One thing I recommend is to make those low notes more clearer but other than that, beautiful tone. Try playing Czardas and see if you can get a hang of that beautiful song!
lol cute. your in Florida state.... yeah this guy, he's the trombonist at the met opera.. but most importantly he's the bass trombone teacher at Juilliard school of music, the most elite music school in the nation. one of the hardest to get in globally , 5.7% acceptance rate. this is no novice. but nonetheless the things you pointed out were not even things wrong. I can gaurentee he intended it to be that way.
After this 8 years it is still amazing.
It always trips me up remembering his Bass Trombone 2nd trigger is in the key of G and not Gb!
Not even sure if I want to pick up the bass trombone in school tomorrow after that awesome job dude

in one word: Great !!! Not many people (if any) would be able to beat you playing this piece in a live performance.
