Several clarifications: I believe the video you watched was split into chapters to show which character's abilities were currently being showcased. Honkai Star Rail takes place in the Mihoyo multiverse, and is a parallel universe to Honkai Impact 3rd. Many of the characters in HSR are different iterations of the same character in HI3, except for one... HSR is a turn-based game with gacha elements, and you can assemble a party of four, similar to Genshin Impact. 5:06 The little girl with the giant claw is named Hook. 5:42 The rockstar with the guitar is named Serval. The girl with the bat at the end is the Trailblazer, your avatar in Honkai Star Rail, similar to the Traveller in Genshin Impact. Both the male and female Trailblazer have different animations. 2:42 Bethany is correct, that is Mahjong! It's a Chinese tile game, and the character that wields them, Qingque, literally throws them at enemies for her attacks.
I've been waiting for Star Rail to make an appearance. I've gotten myself completely hooked. I have to say my favorite ultimate visually is Himako with her just sitting there drinking tea. As for videos really any of the version or character trailers would give you a better idea about the world and people in it.
Yeah, even though Himeko is considered less optimal than many of the other 5* characters, I really want to get her just because that ultimate animation is so awesome! I also want Clara just because that's the only way to get Svarog - once I saw that literally everything in her kit was just having Svarog fight for her, I wanted to get her so I could also have Papa Murderbot... I can't complain though, I've got Bronya (plus an eidolon), Geppard, and Silver Wolf... I'm doing quite well for a non-whale.
Genshin Impact, Honkai Impact and Honkai Star Rail are in the same multiverse, basically like the MCU. Some characters have variant versions in each of the game universes, and some objects sometimes can go from one universe to another. As far as I know there's only one character that is the same person that traveled from a game universe to another (Welt from HI3 to HSR).
If you didn't know already Genshin impact, Honkai starail and Honkai impact third are run by the same company and some characters are expys in different games like different versions of 1 character across all 3 games.

I'm real disappointed that this video people keep reacting to doesn't have male Trailblazer. The girl at the very end with the bat and lance is the female trailblazer, so the effects of their skills and ults are the same, but the animations are surprisingly unique between them, so it just bums me out that there's no male trailblazer.
The only character GENUINELY from Honkai Impact 3 is Walt. The guy who created the black hole with the flick of a wrist. You could say that Star Rail is somewhat set in the future and a bit alternate dimension. Its like how Fischl is in Genshin Impact but also in Honkai Impact, same with Yae Miko. And how Bronya, Seele and Walt are from Honkai Impact but also in Star Rail. But Walt is the only one that crossed dimensions.

Years later, Himeko finally repairs the Express and begins her journey into the stars. She is now one of the older members who travel on the Astral Express. - Tingyun - (Electric Type, follows the Aeon Path of The Harmony) A silver-tongued Foxian girl, Tingyun is the Head Representative of the Whistling Flames, a merchant guild officially approved by the Sky-Faring Commission. Foxian races are one of the long-lived races we know about Honkai: Star Rail, living for easily well past 700 years and more. - Bronya - (Wind Type, follows the Aeon Path of The Harmony) Heir to the Supreme Guardian of Belobog, she is the young and capable commander of the Silvermane Guards. She shares the same name of a Honkai Impact character, and don't worry about her ultimate, she isn't summoning dead spirits of Silvermane Guards, it would look cool if it did, though. also sorta inseparable from Seele, which might be a bit of a reference to Honkai Impact's universe? - Gepard - (Ice Type, follows the Aeon Path of The Preservation) The honorable and upstanding captain of the Silvermane Guards who bears the noble Landau family name, brother to Serval and his weapon is a guitar case. Honestly can't think of much to say about him... - Qingque - (Quantum type, follows the Aeon Path of Erudition) An ordinary diviner at the Divination Commission. She would never slack off in slacking off. Her ability to slack off at her work inspires me, she often plays a sort of Mahjong-inspired game called Celestial Jade and her gameplay definitely needs some luck to work with you in pulling the right tiles to shoot. - Clara (And Svarog) - (Normal Type, follows the Aeon Path of Destruction) A vagrant, introverted and gentle girl who lives with robots. She's also adorable, Svarog on the other hand, her ancient Robot dad protector, was tasked with a mission to protect Belobog and creates his own robots to do so, like bots who are literally just hands. - Seele - (Quantum type, follows the Aeon Path of The Hunt) A spirited and valiant member of Wildfire who grew up in the perilous Underworld of Belobog. She is accustomed to being on her own. Usually an enforcer for the Wildfire group, she shares the same name of a Honkai Impact character, also sorta inseparable from Bronya, which might be a bit of a reference to Honkai Impact's universe? - Welt Yang - (Imaginary type, follows the Aeon Path of The Nihility) The wise and experienced former Anti-Entropy Sovereign who inherited the name of the world - Welt. He has saved Earth from annihilation time and time again. After the incident with St. Fountain came to a close, Welt had no choice but to venture with the initiator of the incident to the other side of the portal. He's just straight up the same as he was in Honkai Impact, although now he's one of the older members of the Astral Express. - Sushang - (Normal Type, follows the Aeon Path of The Hunt) A naive and enthusiastic newcomer to the Cloud Knights who wields a greatsword. She yearns for the historic legends of the Cloud Knights, and is eager to become such a legendary figure herself. Cloud Knights are the prime security of the massive space ship/city, Xianzhou Luofu. - Yanqing - (Ice Type, Follows the Aeon Path of The Hunt) The spirited lieutenant of the Xianzhou Luofu, and also its most proficient swordsman. He was born for the sword and is obsessed with it. Whenever a sword rests in Yanqing's hand, none would dare underestimate this genius still in the early days of his youth. He is certainly a prodigy, especially when he's General Jing Yuan's retainer. - Asta - (Fire type, follows the Aeon Path of The Harmony) The lead researcher of Herta Space Station and a lady from a renowned family. She's an astronomer overflowing with curiosity, and excels at managing the disparate staff of the space station. She is also way too rich, far too rich for anybody to handle. - March 7th - (Ice type, follows the Aeon Path of The Preservation) A girl who once slumbered in eternal ice and knows nothing about her past. To find out the truth about her origins, she decided to travel with the Astral Express. She was found by the Astral Express crew, and with no idea of what her name was, she named herself after the month and day she was found, she also have a very large interest in photography.

He acts like he is everyone's friend, is enthusiastically humorous, and is good at bantering. You love to hate him, and you hate to love him. although he's absolutely a comic relief character that does his job well, sure is fun to dislike him though... - Hook - (Fire type, follows the Aeon Path of Destruction) Head of the adventure squad "The Moles," she calls herself Pitch-Dark Hook the Great. She doesn't like to be called a "kid" and believes she can handle things herself without any help from adults. Although the Moles are actually just like, a group of 4 kids, she's not as much of a pyromaniac as Klee is, but the similarity is there, red colors, big hat, blowing things up in combat. - Pela - (Ice Type, follows the Aeon Path of The Nihility) The meticulous Intelligence Officer of the Silvermane Guards. While young, she is undeniably brilliant. Whether it relates to maneuvering troops, distributing supplies, or the analyzing terrain, Pela can answer any problems with calm certainty. She is rather useful in combat, reducing defense of enemies and getting rid of whatever power-ups they have, not as much damage as other characters though. - Serval - (Electric type, follows the Aeon Path of Erudition) A Belobog mechanic who used to be a researcher for the Technology Division of the Architects. As Gepard Landau's elder sister, her personality stands in stark contrast to her brother's. She loves an ancient form of music known as "rock 'n' roll" that was popular before the Eternal Freeze. Her Guitar was actually custom-made, by her close friend Cocolia, she does perform for fun in the upperworld of Belobog's streets. - Natasha - (Normal Type, follows the Aeon Path of Abundance) In the Underworld where medical resources are scarce, Natasha is one of the very few doctors whom the people can turn to. Even the rambunctious Hook would politely greet her. She is the Jean for Hook's Klee, She's often the one scolding Hook whenever Hook ends up doing what she's not supposed to do, like going somewhere dangerous or causing trouble. She also ran her own orphanage and is an important member of the Wildfire group. - Herta - (Ice type, follows the Aeon Path of Erudition) Member 83 of the Genius Society. An incredibly intelligent yet unsympathetic scientist. As the human with the highest IQ on the Blue, she only does what she's interested in, dropping projects the moment she loses interest - the best example being the Herta space station (It's basically her storage attic nowadays). She typically appears in the form of a remote-controlled puppet. We never see her real body. - Kafka - (Electric type, follows the Aeon Path of The Nihility) (Not playable as of now) One of the Stellaron hunters, Little is known about this Stellaron Hunter, other than that she is one of Destiny's Slave Elio's most trusted members. In order to achieve Elio's envisioned future, Kafka gets to work. She and Silverwolf are responsible for starting the whole story line of Honkai Star Rail, instead of hunting a Stellaron, they create a vessel to put it inside, the main character of Honkai Star Rail. - Silverwolf - (Quantum type, follows the Aeon Path of The Nihility) (Not playable as of now) The universe is just another game to this super hacker. No matter how thorny the defense system, Silver Wolf can crack it with ease. Her hacking battle with Screwllum of the Genius Society has become stuff of legends in the hacking world. A member of the Stellaron Hunters, and definitely the best hacker in the universe of Honkai Star Rail so far, she often talks in gaming slang, which is cool when her ultimate is basically her playing a rhythm game. Responsible for starting the Main character's adventure by creating a body for the Stellaron. - Luocha - (Imaginary type, follows the path of Abundance) (Not playable as of now) A mysterious travelling merchant who carries a coffin with what's likely not a human body but mysterious vines and has lots of medical expertise (even somehow fixing androids), he also resembles Otto Apocalypse from Honkai Impact. - Blade - (Wind type, follows the Aeon Path of Destruction) (Not playable as of now) A swordsman who abandoned his body to become a blade. Birth name unknown. He pledges loyalty to Destiny's Slave, and possesses a terrifying self-healing ability. Blade wields an ancient sword riddled with cracks, just like his body and his mind. He is a member of the Stellaron Hunters and is certainly a lunatic. - Jing Yuan - (Electric type, follows the Aeon Path of Erudition) The Divine Foresight, one of the Seven Arbiter-Generals. Although his appearance may be one of indolence, he is more meticulous than seemingly meets the eye. Due to his careful management, Xianzhou has enjoyed many years of peace, with Jing Yuan's seemingly lazy demeanor having earned him the moniker of the "Dozing General." The giant yellow warrior that Jing summons out of no-where is named the Lightning Lord. - Arlan - (Electric type, follows the Aeon Path of Destruction) The inarticulate head of the Herta space station's Security Department. While scientific research is beyond his understanding, Arlan is willing to risk his life to protect the staff who value research so very much. He also takes care of the Space station dog, Peppy, a cute little guy who I think is mechanical, Asta often worries about Arlan and how hard-working he is. - Traiblazer/Main Character - (Normal/Fire type, follows the Aeon Path of Destruction and the Aeon Path of Preservation as of now) They have a stellaron inside their bodies when they were made out of thin air by the Stellaron hunters, you can play as a male or female version, to finally say what the Stellaron is, it is a very dangerous thing that is know for destroying worlds, Belobog was in trouble because of it, same for the Xianzhou Luofu, The Trailblazer gets discovered by the Astral Express Crew after they were ditched by the Stellaron hunters after their creation, now they are going on journeys with the Express crew. Ya'll also need to know about Pom-Pom, the teeny tiny conductor of the Astral Express, they are adorable!
I feel like yall should do a compilation of the cutscenes with Genshin or Star Rail because there are some scenes you will never get to experience unless you play them but they worth the watch

HSR takes place in an alternate universe. Like Genshin or HI3 some familiar-looking ones might appear down the line...though they might be expies at best. But yeah, not the same world as Genshin or HI3.
The game has been doing very well so far. People are really loving the story, characters, and the turn-based-combat. I would say the lore too for some folks, but space and science stuff goes over my head most of the time and I never checked if it clicked with a lot of other folks. It seems to be with the amount of videos coming out, but I prefer Genshin's fantasy setting as it's more simple and my style. As for your question as to whether they're bringing in characters from games with "Honkai" in their names. There's only 1 certain character that fits that criteria, while the rest aren't. And here's the thing. Hoyoverse likes to reuse character designs and change them up a bit to make them "Alternate Universe Counterparts". So while certain characters may look very similar to others from different games, they are not the same person. So basically like how DC and Marvel's multiverses work.
HSR lore definitely clicks very well with scifi enthusiasts. and to be perfectly honest, i wasn't worried in that department either, since mihoyo actually had more experience with scifi settings over fantasy. honkai impact, the game that came before genshin, is very deep into their pseudo-science lore and world mechanism. they are also not afraid to heavily base them upon existing scientific theories, or even mesh together their pseudo-science with the philosophy of existence in and of itself. and honestly, some of those also bleed into genshin, albeit less obvious, or more focused on the philosophical side, due to the fantasy-themed storytelling. but as we delve deeper into irminsul tech, or how teyvat itself actually operates, it won't surprise me if some actual pseudo-science will eventually take place in the main lore. especially since i'm more keen to believe that far away in the future, the multiverses will actually cross paths. if there's one thing i can say about mihoyo as a company, it's that they're very ambitious.
It's a pretty new game made by the same guys that made genshin. I recommend you guys watching Myriad Celestia: Fable of the stars. It's a beautifully animated tale about the gods of this universe.
Some characters in this game come from HI3 such as Seele, Bronya, Yanqing, Welt and Himeko but they're completely different to those in HI3 well except Welt and some others but most of them are only for this game, they may do a genshin crossover at some point in the future but for now it most likely won't happen as someone else said, they game hasn't been out long so there isn't much content but we'll be getting V1.1 soon which will add more content but no crossovers

Except Welt Yang, all other characters are the alternative universe version of HI3 characters. Welt Yang in HSR is the same Welt Yang in HI3, for some reason HSR Himeko found him and took him on the Astral Express, he's traveling with everyone as well as finding a way to get back to his world (HI3).

Yeah just depends if you want to dominate or just play. Not sure how game is laid out but if it is PVE then it’s less of issue over PvP. Mainly with FTP games we’ve played we grind over paying. But that just burns you out eventually 🤗😅

Like most those characters might be something you have to unlock which means you might just get enough of the girl with the claw to make you want her, but you'll never get her until you play the lotto. That's why I don't really like that. I want to experience all the game not 20% of it and have to pay for the rest. I mean that system demands they make good characters but if a game has a petty system that requires you shelling out hundreds of bucks just to get a character, I'd just play a different game. Especially if it's just 1 character out of 20+ Plus a lot of these games have systems that make grinding either impossible or abusive which kind of is disrespecting your time which I don't like
It has no connection to genshin other than a few easter eggs like how the genshin gliders are in Hertas collection etc. There is no story connection. This is more of an alternate universe to Honkai impact 3rd. Tho you dont need to play that game to understand this. Characters like Seele, Natasha, Bronya etc. Are different versions of their Honkai impact counterparts with completely new backstories. So no The one you called Klee isnt Klee. Her name is "PITCH DARK HOOK THE GREAT!" Or "Hook" As everyone calls her.
Honkai impact, genshin impact, and honkai star rail are 3 different games. Some characters may have similar names or looks but theyre entirely different people each game. Gameplay is also different. Honkai impact is action- dungeon crawler. Genshin is more open world action rpg. Star rail is more turn based rpg and is the newest game.
Honkai Star Rail is an alternate universe in the whole Mihoyoverse. In Star Rail there are alternate versions of characters from Honkai Impact. Himeko, Seele, Bronya, Natalia are some of the parallels. The alternate universes are actually a plot point and explained in Honkai Impact 3rd. There's the imaginary tree that was seen in Otto's cinematic that contains these bubble universes. The imaginary tree comes in conflict with existence with the Sea of Quantum which was seen in Seele's cinematic. These two existences also manifests into light and dark attributes seen in Genshin. Also Honkai Impact released a new cinematic that concludes its first arc story. The cinematic is called Graduation Trip. I believe its the only story cinematic you haven't watched yet.
No it's the same univers just the people aotside of the earth are not afect by the sea of quanta and the honkai that's why there's other honkai characters because their are the not honkai affected people
hi3 and hsr aren't related by any means but the characters from hi3 apparently can travel to this universe that has nothing to do with hi3 inherent lore. A lot of the "Honkai, herrschers, flamechasers, mantis, serpent, etc" aren't even in this universe and for the most part, every HSR characters treated everything that Welt says about the hi3 world as some sort of a fictional world since they have Aeons, Anti matter legion, stellaron, and IPC as their main 4 major entities of their galaxies. Also, the lack of coordinate of hi3 planet location in the express with 500+ years of history of traveling from galaxy implies that it's highly possible the HSR universe is so far from hi3 that it's impossible to reach it unless they managed to get there magically so it could've been in the same universe and not within the imaginary tree or the SOQ since I doubt there could be such a massive world and planets within either of the two entity that creates bubble universes. So until Raiden, yae, or fu hua arrive in HSR, there's really no clear explanation if this was a bubble universe, or a galaxy so far away from hi3 earth that Welt couldn't even find a way to go back to his world. Tbf, the fact that the leaks have hi3 characters kinda feel like they're trying to promote hi3 via HSR's popularity because hi3 is a lesser known hoyoverse's game (since it's a cheap-looking mobile phone game). And this was quite a desperate move by them lol. I know hi3 is kinda dying but they don't have to force them into HSR when it's not even in the same universe and it logically makes no sense that they would abandon their place on earth, sakura with her revenge, mei wtih kiana's sacrifice, and fu hua and her long history there, to join the HSR universe as if to beg players to play hi3 to keep that game alive. The writer for hi3 wrote the story like it's for 12 years old lmao. All the plot conveniences, cliches, overused power of friendship theme (overturning the villain with plot holes), simple minded/generic and predictable mcs, and convuloted, bad storytelling... bringing these to HSR universe would potentially make HSR a sht game. Anyway I digress, whatever you're saying is a theory, not the validated truth.
@@Qopa well it's not a validated truth yeah, but HSR is definitely part of the imaginary tree or the Sea of Quanta. Welt is the same welt from Honkai impact 3rd and finally the fragments of Surtr pretty much confirm that there is Honkai in this universe as well.

My personal favorite ultimate is Bronya. I like ultimate abilities that showcase the character doing something cool, more than showcasing the cool thing they're doing. Bronya is doing something cool while still being the focus, and I love it. I also just love her aesthetic. Clara is another one I really like. But they are all great! Sushang phoenix, er, chicken, is also great!
The chicken IS phoenix! Its Jingwei, the chinese origin of the phoenix, albeit it put a bit weight on. But dw, its belly flop is still as graceful as need be
Star Rail brings in characters from Honkai Impact 3rd, but most of them are (to my knowledge) alternate versions of them. The only ones in the video that seems to actually be from the same universe as Honkai Impact 3rd is Welt, and possibly Himeko via a different means.

It's it's own game though I believe there's been cross over before where Fischl was available in Honkai impact 3 during a special event so it's possible something like that may happen later on as it was just released and there isn't a whole lot of content available right now. Some of them were doing little damage cause they were low level (some only had like a hundred health and such) and there's also status effects so like some enemies are weak to fire so hit them with fire. There are references to other games in one of the areas. The basic wind glider from Genshin is on display with a description that is rather familiar and I believe the male protag Cealus (the canon name thought you can name them whatever) is said to be the son of Aether (the canon name for the male protag of genshin) and Dies I believe in terms of roman mythology. It's a turn based combat as you can see, so exploration is rather simple, you just go around on a map. No jumping, climbing or things like that. The humor is great though. The fandom has decided that the best ship is the protag and the trash can. I'm serious that's a thing or at the very least they are depicted as being almost like raccoons with their love of getting into garbage xD
This game is pretty rad so far. I've been playing their other games, Honkai Impact 3rd and Genshin Impact for years now. These three games, along with Black Desert Mobile, eat up most of my stoage haha

Honkai Star Rail takes place in the Mihoyo multiverse, and is a parallel universe to Honkai Impact 3rd. Many of the characters in HSR are different iterations of the same character in HI3, except for one...
HSR is a turn-based game with gacha elements, and you can assemble a party of four, similar to Genshin Impact.
5:06 The little girl with the giant claw is named Hook.
5:42 The rockstar with the guitar is named Serval.
The girl with the bat at the end is the Trailblazer, your avatar in Honkai Star Rail, similar to the Traveller in Genshin Impact. Both the male and female Trailblazer have different animations.

Yeah, even though Himeko is considered less optimal than many of the other 5* characters, I really want to get her just because that ultimate animation is so awesome! I also want Clara just because that's the only way to get Svarog - once I saw that literally everything in her kit was just having Svarog fight for her, I wanted to get her so I could also have Papa Murderbot...
I can't complain though, I've got Bronya (plus an eidolon), Geppard, and Silver Wolf... I'm doing quite well for a non-whale.

Genshin Impact, Honkai Impact and Honkai Star Rail are in the same multiverse, basically like the MCU. Some characters have variant versions in each of the game universes, and some objects sometimes can go from one universe to another. As far as I know there's only one character that is the same person that traveled from a game universe to another (Welt from HI3 to HSR).

If you didn't know already Genshin impact, Honkai starail and Honkai impact third are run by the same company and some characters are expys in different games like different versions of 1 character across all 3 games.

I'm real disappointed that this video people keep reacting to doesn't have male Trailblazer. The girl at the very end with the bat and lance is the female trailblazer, so the effects of their skills and ults are the same, but the animations are surprisingly unique between them, so it just bums me out that there's no male trailblazer.

The only character GENUINELY from Honkai Impact 3 is Walt. The guy who created the black hole with the flick of a wrist. You could say that Star Rail is somewhat set in the future and a bit alternate dimension. Its like how Fischl is in Genshin Impact but also in Honkai Impact, same with Yae Miko. And how Bronya, Seele and Walt are from Honkai Impact but also in Star Rail. But Walt is the only one that crossed dimensions.

A character who shares the same name of a dead Honkai Impact character, An adventurous scientist who encountered the Astral Express as a young woman when it got stranded in her homeworld. Years later, Himeko finally repairs the Express and begins her journey into the stars. She is now one of the older members who travel on the Astral Express.
- Tingyun - (Electric Type, follows the Aeon Path of The Harmony)
A silver-tongued Foxian girl, Tingyun is the Head Representative of the Whistling Flames, a merchant guild officially approved by the Sky-Faring Commission. Foxian races are one of the long-lived races we know about Honkai: Star Rail, living for easily well past 700 years and more.

Heir to the Supreme Guardian of Belobog, she is the young and capable commander of the Silvermane Guards. - Gepard - (Ice Type, follows the Aeon Path of The Preservation)
The honorable and upstanding captain of the Silvermane Guards who bears the noble Landau family name, brother to Serval and his weapon is a guitar case. Honestly can't think of much to say about him...
- Qingque - (Quantum type, follows the Aeon Path of Erudition)
An ordinary diviner at the Divination Commission. She would never slack off in slacking off. Her ability to slack off at her work inspires me, she often plays a sort of Mahjong-inspired game called Celestial Jade and her gameplay definitely needs some luck to work with you in pulling the right tiles to shoot.
- Clara (And Svarog) - (Normal Type, follows the Aeon Path of Destruction)
A vagrant, introverted and gentle girl who lives with robots. She's also adorable, Svarog on the other hand, her ancient Robot dad protector, was tasked with a mission to protect Belobog and creates his own robots to do so, like bots who are literally just hands.
- Seele - (Quantum type, follows the Aeon Path of The Hunt)
A spirited and valiant member of Wildfire who grew up in the perilous Underworld of Belobog. She is accustomed to being on her own. Usually an enforcer for the Wildfire group, she shares the same name of a Honkai Impact character, also sorta inseparable from Bronya, which might be a bit of a reference to Honkai Impact's universe?
- Welt Yang - (Imaginary type, follows the Aeon Path of The Nihility)
The wise and experienced former Anti-Entropy Sovereign who inherited the name of the world - Welt. He has saved Earth from annihilation time and time again. After the incident with St. Fountain came to a close, Welt had no choice but to venture with the initiator of the incident to the other side of the portal. He's just straight up the same as he was in Honkai Impact, although now he's one of the older members of the Astral Express.
- Sushang - (Normal Type, follows the Aeon Path of The Hunt)
A naive and enthusiastic newcomer to the Cloud Knights who wields a greatsword. She yearns for the historic legends of the Cloud Knights, and is eager to become such a legendary figure herself. Cloud Knights are the prime security of the massive space ship/city, Xianzhou Luofu.
- Yanqing - (Ice Type, Follows the Aeon Path of The Hunt)
The spirited lieutenant of the Xianzhou Luofu, and also its most proficient swordsman. He was born for the sword and is obsessed with it. Whenever a sword rests in Yanqing's hand, none would dare underestimate this genius still in the early days of his youth. He is certainly a prodigy, especially when he's General Jing Yuan's retainer.
- Asta - (Fire type, follows the Aeon Path of The Harmony)
The lead researcher of Herta Space Station and a lady from a renowned family. She's an astronomer overflowing with curiosity, and excels at managing the disparate staff of the space station. She is also way too rich, far too rich for anybody to handle.
- March 7th - (Ice type, follows the Aeon Path of The Preservation)
A girl who once slumbered in eternal ice and knows nothing about her past. To find out the truth about her origins, she decided to travel with the Astral Express. She was found by the Astral Express crew, and with no idea of what her name was, she named herself after the month and day she was found, she also have a very large interest in photography.
- Sampo - (Wind type, follows the Aeon Path of The Nihility)
A merchant who freely travels between the Overworld and the Underworld. He acts like he is everyone's friend, is enthusiastically humorous, and is good at bantering. You love to hate him, and you hate to love him. although he's absolutely a comic relief character that does his job well, sure is fun to dislike him though...
- Hook - (Fire type, follows the Aeon Path of Destruction)
Head of the adventure squad "The Moles," she calls herself Pitch-Dark Hook the Great. She doesn't like to be called a "kid" and believes she can handle things herself without any help from adults. Although the Moles are actually just like, a group of 4 kids, she's not as much of a pyromaniac as Klee is, but the similarity is there, red colors, big hat, blowing things up in combat.
- Pela - (Ice Type, follows the Aeon Path of The Nihility)
The meticulous Intelligence Officer of the Silvermane Guards. While young, she is undeniably brilliant. Whether it relates to maneuvering troops, distributing supplies, or the analyzing terrain, Pela can answer any problems with calm certainty. She is rather useful in combat, reducing defense of enemies and getting rid of whatever power-ups they have, not as much damage as other characters though.
- Serval - (Electric type, follows the Aeon Path of Erudition)
A Belobog mechanic who used to be a researcher for the Technology Division of the Architects. As Gepard Landau's elder sister, her personality stands in stark contrast to her brother's. She loves an ancient form of music known as "rock 'n' roll" that was popular before the Eternal Freeze. Her Guitar was actually custom-made, by her close friend Cocolia, she does perform for fun in the upperworld of Belobog's streets.
- Natasha - (Normal Type, follows the Aeon Path of Abundance)
In the Underworld where medical resources are scarce, Natasha is one of the very few doctors whom the people can turn to. Even the rambunctious Hook would politely greet her. She is the Jean for Hook's Klee, She's often the one scolding Hook whenever Hook ends up doing what she's not supposed to do, like going somewhere dangerous or causing trouble. She also ran her own orphanage and is an important member of the Wildfire group.
- Herta - (Ice type, follows the Aeon Path of Erudition)
Member 83 of the Genius Society. An incredibly intelligent yet unsympathetic scientist. As the human with the highest IQ on the Blue, she only does what she's interested in, dropping projects the moment she loses interest - the best example being the Herta space station (It's basically her storage attic nowadays). She typically appears in the form of a remote-controlled puppet. We never see her real body.
- Kafka - (Electric type, follows the Aeon Path of The Nihility) (Not playable as of now)
One of the Stellaron hunters, Little is known about this Stellaron Hunter, other than that she is one of Destiny's Slave Elio's most trusted members. In order to achieve Elio's envisioned future, Kafka gets to work. She and Silverwolf are responsible for starting the whole story line of Honkai Star Rail, instead of hunting a Stellaron, they create a vessel to put it inside, the main character of Honkai Star Rail.
- Silverwolf - (Quantum type, follows the Aeon Path of The Nihility) (Not playable as of now)
The universe is just another game to this super hacker. No matter how thorny the defense system, Silver Wolf can crack it with ease. Her hacking battle with Screwllum of the Genius Society has become stuff of legends in the hacking world. A member of the Stellaron Hunters, and definitely the best hacker in the universe of Honkai Star Rail so far, she often talks in gaming slang, which is cool when her ultimate is basically her playing a rhythm game. Responsible for starting the Main character's adventure by creating a body for the Stellaron.
- Luocha - (Imaginary type, follows the path of Abundance) (Not playable as of now)
A mysterious travelling merchant who carries a coffin with what's likely not a human body but mysterious vines and has lots of medical expertise (even somehow fixing androids), he also resembles Otto Apocalypse from Honkai Impact.
- Blade - (Wind type, follows the Aeon Path of Destruction) (Not playable as of now)
A swordsman who abandoned his body to become a blade. Birth name unknown. He pledges loyalty to Destiny's Slave, and possesses a terrifying self-healing ability. Blade wields an ancient sword riddled with cracks, just like his body and his mind. He is a member of the Stellaron Hunters and is certainly a lunatic.
- Jing Yuan - (Electric type, follows the Aeon Path of Erudition)
The Divine Foresight, one of the Seven Arbiter-Generals. Although his appearance may be one of indolence, he is more meticulous than seemingly meets the eye. Due to his careful management, Xianzhou has enjoyed many years of peace, with Jing Yuan's seemingly lazy demeanor having earned him the moniker of the "Dozing General." The giant yellow warrior that Jing summons out of no-where is named the Lightning Lord.
- Arlan - (Electric type, follows the Aeon Path of Destruction)
The inarticulate head of the Herta space station's Security Department. While scientific research is beyond his understanding, Arlan is willing to risk his life to protect the staff who value research so very much. He also takes care of the Space station dog, Peppy, a cute little guy who I think is mechanical, Asta often worries about Arlan and how hard-working he is.
- Traiblazer/Main Character - (Normal/Fire type, follows the Aeon Path of Destruction and the Aeon Path of Preservation as of now)
They have a stellaron inside their bodies when they were made out of thin air by the Stellaron hunters, you can play as a male or female version, to finally say what the Stellaron is, it is a very dangerous thing that is know for destroying worlds, Belobog was in trouble because of it, same for the Xianzhou Luofu, The Trailblazer gets discovered by the Astral Express Crew after they were ditched by the Stellaron hunters after their creation, now they are going on journeys with the Express crew.
Ya'll also need to know about Pom-Pom, the teeny tiny conductor of the Astral Express, they are adorable!

The game has been doing very well so far. People are really loving the story, characters, and the turn-based-combat. I would say the lore too for some folks, but space and science stuff goes over my head most of the time and I never checked if it clicked with a lot of other folks. It seems to be with the amount of videos coming out, but I prefer Genshin's fantasy setting as it's more simple and my style.
As for your question as to whether they're bringing in characters from games with "Honkai" in their names. There's only 1 certain character that fits that criteria, while the rest aren't. And here's the thing. Hoyoverse likes to reuse character designs and change them up a bit to make them "Alternate Universe Counterparts". So while certain characters may look very similar to others from different games, they are not the same person.
So basically like how DC and Marvel's multiverses work.

HSR lore definitely clicks very well with scifi enthusiasts. and to be perfectly honest, i wasn't worried in that department either, since mihoyo actually had more experience with scifi settings over fantasy. honkai impact, the game that came before genshin, is very deep into their pseudo-science lore and world mechanism. they are also not afraid to heavily base them upon existing scientific theories, or even mesh together their pseudo-science with the philosophy of existence in and of itself. and honestly, some of those also bleed into genshin, albeit less obvious, or more focused on the philosophical side, due to the fantasy-themed storytelling. but as we delve deeper into irminsul tech, or how teyvat itself actually operates, it won't surprise me if some actual pseudo-science will eventually take place in the main lore. especially since i'm more keen to believe that far away in the future, the multiverses will actually cross paths. if there's one thing i can say about mihoyo as a company, it's that they're very ambitious.

It's a pretty new game made by the same guys that made genshin. I recommend you guys watching Myriad Celestia: Fable of the stars. It's a beautifully animated tale about the gods of this universe.

Some characters in this game come from HI3 such as Seele, Bronya, Yanqing, Welt and Himeko but they're completely different to those in HI3 well except Welt and some others but most of them are only for this game, they may do a genshin crossover at some point in the future but for now it most likely won't happen as someone else said, they game hasn't been out long so there isn't much content but we'll be getting V1.1 soon which will add more content but no crossovers

Welt Yang in HSR is the same Welt Yang in HI3, for some reason HSR Himeko found him and took him on the Astral Express, he's traveling with everyone as well as finding a way to get back to his world (HI3).

Yeah just depends if you want to dominate or just play. Not sure how game is laid out but if it is PVE then it’s less of issue over PvP. Mainly with FTP games we’ve played we grind over paying. But that just burns you out eventually 🤗😅

Like most those characters might be something you have to unlock which means you might just get enough of the girl with the claw to make you want her, but you'll never get her until you play the lotto. That's why I don't really like that. I want to experience all the game not 20% of it and have to pay for the rest. I mean that system demands they make good characters but if a game has a petty system that requires you shelling out hundreds of bucks just to get a character, I'd just play a different game. Especially if it's just 1 character out of 20+
Plus a lot of these games have systems that make grinding either impossible or abusive which kind of is disrespecting your time which I don't like

It has no connection to genshin other than a few easter eggs like how the genshin gliders are in Hertas collection etc. There is no story connection. This is more of an alternate universe to Honkai impact 3rd. Tho you dont need to play that game to understand this. Characters like Seele, Natasha, Bronya etc. Are different versions of their Honkai impact counterparts with completely new backstories. So no The one you called Klee isnt Klee. Her name is "PITCH DARK HOOK THE GREAT!" Or "Hook" As everyone calls her.

Honkai impact, genshin impact, and honkai star rail are 3 different games. Some characters may have similar names or looks but theyre entirely different people each game. Gameplay is also different. Honkai impact is action- dungeon crawler. Genshin is more open world action rpg. Star rail is more turn based rpg and is the newest game.

Honkai Star Rail is an alternate universe in the whole Mihoyoverse. In Star Rail there are alternate versions of characters from Honkai Impact. Himeko, Seele, Bronya, Natalia are some of the parallels. The alternate universes are actually a plot point and explained in Honkai Impact 3rd. There's the imaginary tree that was seen in Otto's cinematic that contains these bubble universes. The imaginary tree comes in conflict with existence with the Sea of Quantum which was seen in Seele's cinematic. These two existences also manifests into light and dark attributes seen in Genshin.
Also Honkai Impact released a new cinematic that concludes its first arc story. The cinematic is called Graduation Trip. I believe its the only story cinematic you haven't watched yet.
No it's the same univers just the people aotside of the earth are not afect by the sea of quanta and the honkai that's why there's other honkai characters because their are the not honkai affected people
hi3 and hsr aren't related by any means but the characters from hi3 apparently can travel to this universe that has nothing to do with hi3 inherent lore. A lot of the "Honkai, herrschers, flamechasers, mantis, serpent, etc" aren't even in this universe and for the most part, every HSR characters treated everything that Welt says about the hi3 world as some sort of a fictional world since they have Aeons, Anti matter legion, stellaron, and IPC as their main 4 major entities of their galaxies.
Also, the lack of coordinate of hi3 planet location in the express with 500+ years of history of traveling from galaxy implies that it's highly possible the HSR universe is so far from hi3 that it's impossible to reach it unless they managed to get there magically so it could've been in the same universe and not within the imaginary tree or the SOQ since I doubt there could be such a massive world and planets within either of the two entity that creates bubble universes.
So until Raiden, yae, or fu hua arrive in HSR, there's really no clear explanation if this was a bubble universe, or a galaxy so far away from hi3 earth that Welt couldn't even find a way to go back to his world.
Tbf, the fact that the leaks have hi3 characters kinda feel like they're trying to promote hi3 via HSR's popularity because hi3 is a lesser known hoyoverse's game (since it's a cheap-looking mobile phone game). And this was quite a desperate move by them lol. I know hi3 is kinda dying but they don't have to force them into HSR when it's not even in the same universe and it logically makes no sense that they would abandon their place on earth, sakura with her revenge, mei wtih kiana's sacrifice, and fu hua and her long history there, to join the HSR universe as if to beg players to play hi3 to keep that game alive. The writer for hi3 wrote the story like it's for 12 years old lmao. All the plot conveniences, cliches, overused power of friendship theme (overturning the villain with plot holes), simple minded/generic and predictable mcs, and convuloted, bad storytelling... bringing these to HSR universe would potentially make HSR a sht game.
Anyway I digress, whatever you're saying is a theory, not the validated truth.
@@Qopa well it's not a validated truth yeah, but HSR is definitely part of the imaginary tree or the Sea of Quanta. Welt is the same welt from Honkai impact 3rd and finally the fragments of Surtr pretty much confirm that there is Honkai in this universe as well.

My personal favorite ultimate is Bronya. I like ultimate abilities that showcase the character doing something cool, more than showcasing the cool thing they're doing. Bronya is doing something cool while still being the focus, and I love it. I also just love her aesthetic. Clara is another one I really like. But they are all great! Sushang phoenix, er, chicken, is also great!

The chicken IS phoenix! Its Jingwei, the chinese origin of the phoenix, albeit it put a bit weight on. But dw, its belly flop is still as graceful as need be
Welt is the only character from Honkai Impact that isn't an alternate universe version. Hes the real one that hopped universes.

Star Rail brings in characters from Honkai Impact 3rd, but most of them are (to my knowledge) alternate versions of them. The only ones in the video that seems to actually be from the same universe as Honkai Impact 3rd is Welt, and possibly Himeko via a different means.

It's it's own game though I believe there's been cross over before where Fischl was available in Honkai impact 3 during a special event so it's possible something like that may happen later on as it was just released and there isn't a whole lot of content available right now.
Some of them were doing little damage cause they were low level (some only had like a hundred health and such) and there's also status effects so like some enemies are weak to fire so hit them with fire. There are references to other games in one of the areas. The basic wind glider from Genshin is on display with a description that is rather familiar and I believe the male protag Cealus (the canon name thought you can name them whatever) is said to be the son of Aether (the canon name for the male protag of genshin) and Dies I believe in terms of roman mythology.
It's a turn based combat as you can see, so exploration is rather simple, you just go around on a map. No jumping, climbing or things like that. The humor is great though. The fandom has decided that the best ship is the protag and the trash can.
I'm serious that's a thing or at the very least they are depicted as being almost like raccoons with their love of getting into garbage xD
This game is pretty rad so far. I've been playing their other games, Honkai Impact 3rd and Genshin Impact for years now. These three games, along with Black Desert Mobile, eat up most of my stoage haha
Couldve had Stelle's ultimate play out with that song from that Cocolia boss fight. They wouldnt expected a song play out in sync with her ultimate xD

Otto :guy with death wish and coffin.
Welt: guy with staff and the void ball being split
As of right now I haven’t seen any characters that resemble anyone from genshin impact but I could be wrong.

TLDR; Honkai Star Rail is an alternate universe of Honkai Impact 3rd. So you can see that some characters are similar to the ones from Honkai Impact 3rd. One example is Luocha (the coffin guy) kinda looks like Otto from HI3 (the evil blonde guy that was carrying the big cross).

The little red gal with her own diggertron claw that you both liked is called Hook, a Pyro type character following the Aeon path of Destruction! Head of the adventure squad "The Moles," she calls herself Pitch-Dark Hook the Great. Although The Moles is filled with a bunch of kids.
The cutest girl besides Hook is definitely Clara though, A young girl living with robots. Her perceptiveness and tenacity are far beyond her years.
Svarog is basically her robot dad and it is adorable seeing them together.
These videos without the male character makes me feel a little happy. I know I shouldn't and it's obnoxious from me to do so, but as someone who had to watch the male traveler everywhere instead of the female traveler I can't help but feel good-
