My wife and I saw them in Melbourne, FL during this tour. We really enjoyed going back to the summers of our youth. The show was great and we may attend sometime in the future as well.

Remember when Mark Volman had that full head of dark hair when The Turtles were performing on “The Ed Sullivan Show” and the “Mike Douglas Show” 54 years ago? Well, now Professor Mark Volman has that full head of white hair as he’s singing the classic hits of The Turtles today. I suspect we’re all more gray today, with fond memories of dark colored and full heads of hair, circa 1968.
Rick Peak was a session drummer for Gary Puckett and played flute on the song Billy don't be a hero and flute on Skeeter Davis song Gonna get along without you now .and Dennis Yost song The Funniest thing. If any one knows where I can get in contact with Rick .Have him call Paul The last place I know was in San Diego CA.
We were at the tour in Arizona last night at Talking Stick Casino. They said Howard had a back surgery preceded by two heart surgeries. They hope he'll be able to do the tour next year.
Howard lead singer of Turtles had medical issues and hasn't toured for the last few years. Mark is the frizzy haired other member of the Turtles pictured here
I usually cut nostalgia bands a ton of slack. To still be having fun and sounding pretty darn good---BUT.....a BIG BUT....the Turtles without Howard Kaylan.....well, if I went to thsi show I'd ask for a refund based on Howard's absence. I hope he's OK?
@@PHL76Music Wow. Ok.. I noticed that right away that it was Ron Dante singing lead for the Turtles, of Sugar Sugar fame ...plus. Thanks for verifying that.
I have seen a few of these and the quality lacks every year and it's mostly from age and ill health-I would guess they ALL need money- the only reliable voice is Susan's and she's the youngest at 61.....

Stopped touring. Back issues. Saw the tour when he was still doing it. Voice was great.
This is truly our favorite show, and the venue is our favorite also, we go every year now!

He's having medical issues. We missed him and wish him well. Ron Dante did an incredible job filling in singing the Turtles' hits.
It was announced well before tickets went on sale that Ron Dante would fill in for Howie this year because of his surgery. Hope he's back in 2019.
