Hanson oak corners! Run out of there quite often. I’m surprised that truck is so heavy empty! I run a 2017 389 glider, ten wheeler, with a 16.5 foot east aluminum box and my tare is around 23.5. Nice truck, love your fleet!

I drove a freightliner FLD that had been converted from a tractor to a dump with air ride and I swear that thing would get stuck or spin going up hill empty on the blacktop and I’d have to back up the hill to the jobsite and it didn’t take long for the owner to get that air ride off of it and put springs under it. Which he took it off the road in a short period of time and made it a site truck because we never could get it lined out right. But for 3 grand it paid for its self in a few days so

    • @flintcreektransport

Not sure what it is in NY but if thats all you can haul its not worth doing. with my pete i could carry 25 tons, my KW 22, Shit even the Mack we have can carry 21.5, ALL steel and camel back. You might want to reweigh just food for thought

Here in MT we get 42K on the tri axle group (with 60" spread) and whatever the front end will legally take for GAWR and tires installed. 55,500 GVW is pretty common depending on box size, where you can position the load.
