Yo! Naruto should win that round as the protagonist because it's all about being relatable to the audience. Being a human with humble beginnings as an orphaned outcast, and having dreams of becoming Hokage, resonates with many who have experienced loneliness or felt like outsiders. He also undergoes significant personal growth, transitioning from an impulsive and reckless child to a responsible and wise leader. We all start as weak crybabies at first and make plenty of mistakes in life that many people find it hard to forgive, but Naruto forgives everybody, which is one of the hardest things to do. He also cherishes others, making him even more relatable, and that's what makes him a great protagonist. He imparts many valuable life lessons through his journey. ✔

The only reason that guy won DBZ vs naruto is because he argued louder and more passionately than the other guy. Everything he said goku did, naruto also did, uniting the people around him? That is something Naruto’s legacy is known for. Did naruto not go on a huge journey of training various things to get to his stronger forms? And also turning the beast of hatred onto his side? I totally agree with you, Naruto hands down is a better protagonist than Goku. Naruto showed sympathy to all his enemies and forgave the people who treated him like a monster his whole life.

One piece fights hold so much more meaning and the story around everything/ the impact is unmatchable. But Jjk is way more visually pleasing based off choreography and animation. That round coulda gone either way it just depends on how you are rating
Agree, it's up to what you prefer. I never even thought about arguing in that direction for One Piece, because it's fights I automatically assume One Piece lost lol, but that G5 guy did an amazing job making a case for One Piece.
True. Although something I'd point out is how almost every fight in One Piece is memorable from Arlong Park onwards while for JJK there's not as memorable for me. And like you said, One Piece is all about the impact a victory has on the show which is more than JJK has to offer on a regular.
I think it isn't fair to count the build up emotions from 1000 ep into the fight. I think bottom line the fight category should be only about the nicest fighting scenes so that both anime can compare (otherwise obviously OP gonna win). If you do take out the unfair emotion edge that one piece, i think its pretty close but i'd give it to JJK. If category was "peak", now you gotta value the emotion and OP easy clap.
Jjk fights are better than one piece’s, no I’m not biased, I have literally been a die hard one piece fan since I was a kid. Jjk fights are based on strategies, assumptions and critical thinking. It’s solely not based on just punching, kicking or trading moves just like one pieces. I might say that one pieces fights aren’t my cup of tea, probably because excessive flashing lights and unnecessary effects every frames. But jjk fights are more clean because mappa’s abilities to animate human or human liked creatures are top notch.

to be naruto lost when guy brought up "being a bad dad". naruto is objectively worse in that are than goku. goku is alien you can argue he dont know better as he never had a father, closest to father figure was granpa gohan but even that does not eliminate the fact goku is alien and dont understand human social cues and cultural needs. you still cant defend him compared to goku in terms of being bad dad. goku did not know better and he still did whats best for his son given the circumstances. he died to give him chance to train and even trained himself while being dead to become strong enough to protect his son again with no reference of what it means to be father or to be human. on other hand naruto's big part of his character is being orphan and inheriting lot of his father and mothers traits so his parental ancestry is crucial plot point and his orphan upbringing is core of his character. for him to neglect his children because he was "busy at work" is way worst than anything goku did in terms of being parent given their respective circumstances. i am on naruto side in terms of anime and i would give it to naruto over goku every time especially in terms of who is better protagonist but there is no benefit of doubt that goku is better father@@tricktreat688
Naruto has more heart and thought into his character like he was arguing he is all about others and his village whereas goku just wants to fight and train because he's addicted to powering up.
I agree I love DBZ, but Goku just wins everytime just because he's goku. In Naruto there are a lot more ninjas involves that need to help and it's more collective IMO.

@@chrissaint-louis488 to play the devil's advocate, shippuden would be much more enjoyable to watch if instead of all the fillers that made no sense and had no value to the canon lore and always make naruto look like an idiot cause you cant give protagonist any development in filler arcs cause it affects the canon they actually polished out the characters that were shunned upon in manga. if fillers in shippuden were focused around other characters and created illusion of "this is what they are doing while naruto is fighting pain" etc... filler would be much more bearable to deal with
On that Naruto vs Goku this man just steamed past the fact that Naruto trained to get stronger to retrieve Sasuke. he had to deal with Orochimaru he knew he had to get stronger cause Sasuke would'nt come quietly its the whole reason he was training with Jiraiya.
Let’s be honest naruto barely got stronger after the time skip he learned some new abilities and stuff and got older which means he also got physically stronger but it wasn’t that much of a boost in power, like he should have gotten even stronger if he is being trained by a legend

As someone who grew up with naruto but recently fall in love with one piece after watching the live action (Still watching the anime, ooh boy there's a lot of episodes), this one is extremely difficult. One piece is great, I'm currently in the alabasta arc, there were a few ups and downs in other arcs but so far it's a great show but on the other hand naruto is so nostalgic. I gotta give this one to naruto, too much memories watching naruto with my older brother.
I love both but naruto beats one piece for me in terms of pacing, fight, emotional moments and of course soundtrack, I have to skip a lot of one piece or I loose interest, but the world building is on another level and who doesn’t love pirates. I’ll be sad when it’s over because I don’t think they’ll be anime’s on the level of one piece and naruto again.
I haven’t seen OP but I can see that it is probably better than Naruto bcoz almost everyone says so but there’s no way anything is replacing Naruto’s nostalgia. I grew up with the ninjas. I have seen a lot of other animes like HxH, AoT and it’s still my favourite along with those two and it’s always going to be.
It's a shame that FMA: Brotherhood didn't get to shine as it should have since there are so many amazing characters with depth and nuances in that show. Roy Mustang, Ling Yao/Greed, Scar, the Armstrong siblings etc
Fmab is so good and I would argue it’s the best all around anime of all time but I just think some anime are better for me like aot and bleach and hxh but Fmab is goated

Shoulda given MHA to the guy with the UA highschool shirt 😭 like there’s many emotional MHA moments like the ‘you can be a hero’ moment, Deku using everything to protect Koda from Muscular, Eri’s backstory and being repeatedly killed by Overhaul and then Deku finally rescues her, Bakugo’s apology, Nighteye, Midnight and twice’s deaths, shoto’s backstory, All Might vs AFO, the entirety of season 6 and the manga rn is emotional bruh 😭 not saying it’s more than DBZ but most DBZ emotional parts only revolve around death and nothing deeper.
My god, everything single episode in that show is an emotional roller-coaster, she literally could have recapped the first 5 mins of episode 1 and it would be sold.

Honestly, if this were any other format, FMAB clears Naruto in cast. So many underutilized characters in Naruto and almost all characters in Brotherhood had a role and none of the important characters are almost universally considered useless. Also, I gotta agree with Jared/Anime Sundays. The dude that fought for One Piece just gave better points and he also provided a few examples to back up his point.
This was a nice vid, cause normally when rob does these con vids. So many anime’s get dissed, or crapped on or strays. But there weren’t all too many this time. I came in expecting one piece to get disrespected, but none of that. None of those calling anything trash, for the most part respectful debates. That’s what it’s about, instead of those people that just call everything trash or mid. Or try and diss the structure of the story instead of the actual execution. And by structure I mean things like length, tone, how grounded it is, realism, etc basically the factors that inherently make up a story because of how it was envisioned. Which was good to not see those brought up because those don’t effect the quality, merely the execution.

This is an argumentative video. And in this case it was whoever makes the better argument wins. For example i think Fullmetal has a WAY and i mean WAY better cast. Like it blows Naruto out of the water but the guy who was arguing for Naruto made it sound way better. He had better points than the guy defending Fullmetal did so id have to give it to Naruto despite disagreeing. Just like how even if you think JJK has better fights the guy just didn't explain it that well, there's some aspects of JJK fights that i love more than OP fights despite being a hardcore OP fan but he just didn't explain its strengths well.

All I heard about Gear 5 for weeks which was supposed to be its peak in the middle roof piece was that it was going to be this generations Super Saiyan and it failed at doing that. This also shows how high the original Super Saiyan transformation was.

I think in terms of fights, JJK would've won because of the weight of the hits, the choreography and the animation. Then naruto should've won for character because Goku doesn't have much to him except getting stronger and never giving up. The Finals should've been naruto vs jjk with Naruto winning the Peaks. Even then DBZ should've won against OnePiece in terms of peaks because it was the founding anime that millions of people watched for every new transformation and don't get me started on Ultra Instinct, Black Goku, Future Trunks and SS4 (even though it's non canon)
DB has way more emotional moments. MHA is a more "human" show but DB easily has the better emotional moments. Literally no main character in MHA has died so idk why you bringed up that "no one dies" argument. They fake killed Bakugo twice, that's worse

As someone who has read it twice in recent years, it still holds up incredibly well today. Maybe it's because people haven't seen it in a long time or just incompletely, but once you get into it, it's legitimately great. TotallyNotMark makes great videos on it if you want to know more
I love this idea. But I think you should add a layer of making them randomly pick a character in that anime and have them face a scenario test. Make up a scenario and see who would win that challenge and do a best like 5/7 fun questions and then move that anime up the tournament bracket. It’s a fun way of seeing your favorite characters and anime in new situations and kind of like brainstorming a cross over episode of what if these anime’s worked together and how it would turn out. Like a conversation between madara and Levi on the same team working on something. That would be crazyyyy😂

I might say that one pieces fights aren’t my cup of tea, probably because excessive flashing lights and unnecessary effects every frames. But jjk fights are more clean because mappa’s abilities to animate human or human liked creatures are top notch.

As someone who grew up with naruto but recently fall in love with one piece after watching the live action (Still watching the anime, ooh boy there's a lot of episodes), this one is extremely difficult. One piece is great, I'm currently in the alabasta arc, there were a few ups and downs in other arcs but so far it's a great show but on the other hand naruto is so nostalgic. I gotta give this one to naruto, too much memories watching naruto with my older brother.

I haven’t seen OP but I can see that it is probably better than Naruto bcoz almost everyone says so but there’s no way anything is replacing Naruto’s nostalgia. I grew up with the ninjas. I have seen a lot of other animes like HxH, AoT and it’s still my favourite along with those two and it’s always going to be.

Honestly, if this were any other format, FMAB clears Naruto in cast. So many underutilized characters in Naruto and almost all characters in Brotherhood had a role and none of the important characters are almost universally considered useless.

This was a nice vid, cause normally when rob does these con vids. So many anime’s get dissed, or crapped on or strays. But there weren’t all too many this time. I came in expecting one piece to get disrespected, but none of that. None of those calling anything trash, for the most part respectful debates. That’s what it’s about, instead of those people that just call everything trash or mid. Or try and diss the structure of the story instead of the actual execution. And by structure I mean things like length, tone, how grounded it is, realism, etc basically the factors that inherently make up a story because of how it was envisioned. Which was good to not see those brought up because those don’t effect the quality, merely the execution.

All I heard about Gear 5 for weeks which was supposed to be its peak in the middle roof piece was that it was going to be this generations Super Saiyan and it failed at doing that. People always say they're not biased but they always ALWAYS end up choosing their favorite anime over the competition.
I think in terms of fights, JJK would've won because of the weight of the hits, the choreography and the animation. Then naruto should've won for character because Goku doesn't have much to him except getting stronger and never giving up. The Finals should've been naruto vs jjk with Naruto winning the Peaks. Even then DBZ should've won against OnePiece in terms of peaks because it was the founding anime that millions of people watched for every new transformation and don't get me started on Ultra Instinct, Black Goku, Future Trunks and SS4 (even though it's non canon)

As someone who has read it twice in recent years, it still holds up incredibly well today. Maybe it's because people haven't seen it in a long time or just incompletely, but once you get into it, it's legitimately great. TotallyNotMark makes great videos on it if you want to know more
I love this idea. But I think you should add a layer of making them randomly pick a character in that anime and have them face a scenario test. Make up a scenario and see who would win that challenge and do a best like 5/7 fun questions and then move that anime up the tournament bracket. It’s a fun way of seeing your favorite characters and anime in new situations and kind of like brainstorming a cross over episode of what if these anime’s worked together and how it would turn out. Like a conversation between madara and Levi on the same team working on something. That would be crazyyyy😂
