Hear me out. Writhing Chrysalis in this deck. It gives 3 bodies for linebreaker’s pump and 3 pings for fleshraker. It ramps you from 4 to 7. It goes wide, tall and blocks fliers. This comment started out as a joke but I kind of convinced myself.
A turn 1 Labyrinth into Gruul Signet does all the fixing you need for a turn 2 Chrysalis. It is a tough mana requirement and usually comes down turn 3 more often than turn 2 but it is doable in my testing. Battlemage looks really impressive I honestly missed on that one though!
I think a couple gemstone caverns will be a lot better the 4 of territory. Brewing with my own version of Eldrazi Aggro, being able to play Linebreaker on turn 1 is kinda hot xD
Yeah I'm on 3x caverns and the pseudo 11 hits for a 'sol land' start is totally ridiculous. Maindeck chalice is amazing, turn one linebreaker has happened a bunch of times ❤️
You can play fleshrsker in a version of tron where your goal is to cast a big koseleks command making a bunch of spawns and pinging your opponent with the fleshrsker
Been playing this since prerelease and also think it's got legs. I'd suggest a couple of maindeck things to try if you feel like it, which have worked for me: -4 it that heralds the end +4 chalice of the void -4 fleshraker +4 sowing mycospawn (card is actually insane, even in this aggro build, and bridges the gap to the higher mana costs) -1 all is dust +1 world breaker +3 gemstone caverns (ups the technical count for 'sol lands' and is a really effective way to balance being on the draw) -1 secluded courtyard -1 dismember -1 sea gate wreckage I've swapped the two basics for wastes + forest because under a moon effect, you want colourless, red is easy to get, sowing mycospawn/world breaker are your only coloured pips that need getting, nulldrifter's blue is optional Fleshraker and it that heralds were in my first builds of the deck because they seemed like amazing and obvious choices but they underperformed. Mycospawn changed the game completely, definitely worth a look. The land it gets enters untapped so you can double-spell off it quite regularly
@@AdamMiceli my sideboard is a bit less refined, basically just an experiment right now but it currently looks like this: 3x wastescape battlemage 2x surgical extraction 2x vexing bauble 2x disruptor flute 2x ratchet bomb 2x the stone brain 2x trinisphere For me there's a couple of question marks. Ratchet bomb becomes an option if you can play it on turn one (but is otherwise pretty mid) and has been a playable card for eldrazi stompy before. It could be totally wrong and just extra copies of dismember, I'm giving it a go. Vexing bauble is a complete unknown and will depend on the meta. I was half/half on the flute vs something like Phyrexian revoker which disrupts and also helps to present a clock. Revoker could be the play, maybe even as a 4-of but it's a tricky sell. Use your judgment on the sideboard it'll depend a lot on what you expect to see honestly
@@storeblaa good question honestly. Most decks in modern rely on a mix of zero, one and two mana spells, and if you can shut off like 25-50% of a player's nonland topdecks it'll be worth it, whether that's removal, threats, a combo piece or just card selection. That said, since I made the post above I've really refined the list and ended up running 3x trinisphere maindeck, and 4x chalice in the side. Which one fits the maindeck better is a matter of what you expect to face, and will probably change week to week. Current list is this: Main (60) 4 Eldrazi Mimic 4 Eldrazi Linebreaker 4 Sowing Mycospawn 4 Thought-Knot Seer 4 Reality Smasher 4 Devourer of Destiny 4 World Breaker 3 Dismember 2 All Is Dust 3 Trinisphere 4 Cavern of Souls 4 Eldrazi Temple 1 Forest 2 Gemstone Caverns 4 Secluded Courtyard 2 Snow-Covered Wastes 4 Ugin's Labyrinth 3 Unclaimed Territory Sideboard (15) 1 Emrakul, the Aeons Torn 1 Surgical Extraction 4 Kozilek's Command 4 Chalice of the Void 2 Void Mirror 2 Damping Matrix 1 Gemstone Caverns I gave a lot of thought to the play patterns and ended up really liking k-command in the side, it's an incredible card. Only reason it's not in the maindeck is because I want the highest chance of a really aggro game one, then the remaining games in a match I often nudge the deck towards having better topdeck quality, more interaction, resilience to blood moon and a bigger top end (to match the usual tactic of your opponent slimming down on their plan A to bring in hate cards). I also trimmed the third gemstone in the main for a second copy of wastes. Blood moon was too much of an issue otherwise. Third gemstone sits in the side now, and gets brought in for every sideboard game when I'm on the draw
@@purklefluff liking ur reasoning and i love linebreaker honestly, but after Spike brewing his mono g and tweaking his list into a super resiliant and consistant simic midrange list I think Ill be on that for thee time, ive also ended up on 3 trinis main tho as that was our talkingpoint 😂

Hey doomwake, I have only gotten back into magic in the past ish 8 months and want to get back into modern out of all the decks you upload and play on stream how many of them would you take to a larger event if you had to? And would you recommend this eldrazi list as a start into competitive magic?

I dont really get your rant about basic land and basic land type at all. It falls perfectly into the design of colourless. Just the same as "tap for any color mana" also excludes colorless, ontop of all eldrazi being colorless despite some of them having colored mana.
I don't think you have to concede at 31:50 until you see something to deal with your clock. They probably have something, but they might have hoped moon would lock you out before you present a clock.
If Wastes had a land type then that would make cards insane. Scion would be a 0 drop and Tribal would be for 6. Kavu becomes a 6/6 and Domain becomes playable.
@@yugioh1870 If Wastes had a land type, leyline of the guildpact makes all your lands wastes too. Meaning you can put leyline in play, play a single land, and vomit out 4 scions while still holding up leyline binding. It would make the deck significantly better. And that's just one case
@@RotatingMagnetGuy Sorry if you have those 6 cards in-hand(1 land, 1 leyline, 4 scions) you're almost certainly winning anyways, it just takes an extra turn. The fact that the scion's were free isn't really the problem going against that hand.

being 2RG makes it only castable from turn 3 onwards, makes the deck curve weird I guess
Not being able to be cast off 2 sol lands is a little awkward for a 4 drop

Which deck list is the right one? The one on mox field, the one shown in the video or the one at the video description?

I was going to skip modern RCQ season again. But if something like this is actually viable that might change.
