They were a good car and the 1.8 was very powerful in its day. They did not break down every 5mins like the usual faltfinders keep saying! I worked on them in the 1970s and they were very popular. Drive one and see for yourself!

According to this video, most English cars have a continental steering wheel arrangement - on the left side. That's interesting.

Cars sold in Sweden have the steering wheel on the left side.
British,cars,are,right,side,steering,so,are,the,British,colonies,
Most British cars also had a left steering option for left hand drive markets.
The Swedish drove also on the left til midsixties !
