same, like I love to live in a big villa, but I also love pent houses. but then I want to live in a tiny modern apartment with a good view but then I go on pinterest and search for vintage decors hehehe
about the plant, that does not rlly grow much.. but does not die either... I had one of them.. I loved it, watered it every once a 2 weeks... to after 1 year realise it was fake... I was watering a fake fucking plant.. So just make sure, it aint fake XD
My Coffee plant likes humidity, I spray the leaves sometimes with a bit of water and give it natural fertilisers like grounded coffee, I hope that this can help you too😊
hey sissel!! i also live in korea and LOVE home decor but i came back home (portugal) for christmas and ended up staying here due to the pandemic. still paying rent in korea and this video just made me miss my little place, and endlessly scrolling through 오늘의집 and spending afternoons at modern house on my own hehe so refreshing 💛 ive been following you for a while, and just like you, i went through a tough period in korea because of a breakup. it makes me really happy and proud to see you glowing like this!! sending you all the happiness ✨
peaxy pu infelizmente não :( depois de lá chegar tenho tido uma todos os semestres mas para ir para lá não. mas existem muitas opções! pesquisa muito, foi o que fiz!
What a beautiful apartment! It feels so light and fresh. I think its nice to see a apartment that isnt too cluttered, very scandinavian which I love ! ❤️
Like someone else wrote, my coffee plant also prefers humidity, so I often mist it with the "tomat" spray thing from ikea. Works wonders with keeping it wet, but not drowning. I also would recommend moving it away from the computer, as the computer release warm air, which will dry out the air around it, and possiply also ruin the plants humid environment :-) Good luck!
Your apartment is so pretty! The plants and wood give it such a natural soft vibe 😍 I especially love the veranda set up with the desk overlooking the city view.
This is the first apartment tour that I have enjoyed beginning to end. I love the styling. It’s clean, pretty and functional but also personal and fun.
For the coffee plant I would recommend to keep it in a bright place but not in direct sunlight. Keep the soil moist at all times (but not drenched, and make sure the pot has good drainage). Also, coffee plants love humidity :) Loved the apartment tour! 💕 Everything's so pretty and the colour palette is exactly my style! Love the earthy, clean looks 💕
This video just made me realise that I need to reorganise my room. Your apartment gives me really comfy vibes. One of the best apartment tour video so far❤️
Your house is so so beautiful...I've been following u since ur apartment series and I was eagerly waiting for this video... I've fallen in love with your house... I've got so many inspiration for my home... Thank you so much... Ily! ❤✨💃
Finally! I've been waiting for this. Your apartment is sooo pretty and neat, as usual. 💖 I really admire your taking the time to conceptualize and think of every little detail, incorporating Danish/Scandinavian feels here and there. IT LOOKS SO COZY I LOVE IT.
Hey , I loved your house 😍😍and I felt so nice to see Ganpati/Ganesh idol on your desk. Ganesh is a Hindu God . We Indian believe Ganpanti brings happiness, peace, and prosperity to home. Wish you a good health and all success in life. Love from India
for the plant, try partial sun light, mist it and put it onto a water catching dish and put water into the dish not directly into the soil. also make sure the soil is nice and rich and that the roots arent too crowded, you might want to re-pot it if the roots dont have enough space.
I’m half danish (my mom is born in Aarhus). I love your accent so much. It reminds me of home, it makes watching your videos that much more enjoyable and welcoming (personally). Great videos
My boyfriend (Korean) hates warm lights. He always wants to turn on the white overhead light and keep all the warm cozy lamps off. I'm like, wtf is wrong with you?????
I’ve been following you for a long time now and I can really see how happy you are in this video. Makes me happy too 🥰 you’ve come a long way and worked hard and deserve all this achievements!😍
everything, in your house, *IS SO PRETTY.* Scandinavian-ish and minimalistic, that is literally what I envisioned my dream apartment to be for the longest time. New fan!
YESSS thank you so much for showing us your “uninteresting” laundry room! It’s a pet peeve when people don’t show one (ONE) room or closet, but they’ve shown all the other closets.
You have the little Ganesh Ji's antiqute on the side. Awwwwww.....its super cute. Your whole house is super cool and your bathroom organisations are also good. Your living space is also so nicely put together ,the bedroom is small and cozy a good working place then is the little but very aesthetic kind of veranda. The kitchen is also so clean unlike mine that is always messed up. It's really nice keep going just like this. I must compliment that how beautifully your house has turned out and it's all worth it moving into the new apartment.😇👍
About your coffee plant, it’s a low light plant so I would stop putting it outside, that’s probs why it’s turning brown. If a leaf dies or is dying make sure you remove it to make room for new growth. They also need a lot of water! If you don’t want to water it every day I would get a mister. They’re very convenient and if you get a cute one can be a nice little decor item, plus your other small plants would most likely benefit from it as well :)
About your little coffee plant, try planting it into a slightly bigger pot and take it to your bathroom whenever you shower so it absorbs the humidity. It likes a lot of water and should be placed in a light place but no direct sunlight. I hope it helps! And I absolutely love your apartment! The price shocked me but definitely makes me want to work hard just like you so I can have a similar experience one day when I go back to China or Korea! Much love!
coffee plants that are exposed to too much sunlight will get brown leaves. Try more indirect light :) also check if you use peat soil and if the plant and the soil are humid enough. They should not be soaking wet but consistantly humid. The drainage part seems to be alright in your case since you have a saucer. :)
Love the aesthetic of your apartment! I cant decorate my apartment much since I'm in the dorm style studio at Seoul NationalUniversity. But I really try to keep down the clutter as much as possible as well! When I get a bigger house your aesthetic is what I aim to have as well! I love being on Line 2 as well!
I have a plant just like that coffee plant. I keep it in bright indirect sunlight and I spray the leaves and top of the soil with water each morning and it does great. Initially I had the same problems you did, but it just likes humidity and no direct sunbeams :)
I just watched a Korean apartment tour where there were so many colors and crammed in items everywhere and it drove me absolutely nuts after watching so many of your videos lol. I don't consider myself on the full minimalist or maximalist spectrum, but in small spaces it is SO distracting. I just wanted to tell you because I couldn't believe how much it has affected me haha.
The plant is “drowning” usually the browning of leaves (but not yet dried out) means the plant is receiving too much water, if it continues the edges will then die and dry out, and the browning will grow. Try to water every couple of days and see if it improves.
The coffee tree needs space to grow, maybe if you change it to a bigger pot that can help. Additional, use compost and take it out to the sun for a while and then put it inside without direct sun. Depending on the variety of coffee tree is the care, there are varieties that are very delicate to changes in the temperature and pests. Good luck! and i love your videos.
About your coffee plant: plants have an optimal temperature to grow (it's usually around 25ºC). When I had plants, they would also "behave" like that until I found out that it was a matter of temperature. Try to keep them in a warm but not hot room and somewhere where the temperature doesn't oscillate that much.
About the coffee plant: it could be that it needs a bit more light, but not too much direkt sunlight. Maybe put it on those wall shelf thingies on your veranda or your bedside table. Mine likes it when I water it thoroughly and then nearly let it dry out before watering again. Hope that helps :)
Your apartment reflects your personality and attitude. I love where you exactly placed you plants and the color combination. It looks so simple at the same time cozy and homey. Spreading love from BKK and PH
The coffee plant needs high humidity!!! They're so finicky, but mine is a whole tree now - almost 2 meters. Try misting it everyday with a spray bottle to keep moisture in the air around the plant.
re: coffee plant...Keep the soil moist but don't let the roots sit in water. After watering, dump any excess out of the pot to make sure the roots don't get waterlogged. Coffee plants also enjoy a humid environment so you may benefit from a humidifier or humidity tray to help keep them thriving.
Regarding the coffee plant they like mountainous climates; you don't have enough humidity. A spray bottle of water may help where you spritz the leaves everyday at the sink then put the plant back where you have it or put a tray under it and spritz it the just watch your electronics. Direct sun will kill it; it likes alot of light, but, not sun. That's where the brown is coming from; you're burning it. Leave it inside and water it good and spray the leaves everyday. Your monstera plant says it needs humidity as well. Best of luck. I love your veranda.
I discovered you with your first apartment tour that was way smaller than this and made you feel uneasy, but you've grown so much since then, as a person as well as the channel. 💜 happy for you :)
For the coffee plant what likely happening when you put it outside is leaf burn. The reason it sags and pops back up when you water it is because of it running out of water and wanting more. Brown tips can also be caused by a lack of humidity and using hard tap water rather than distilled.
Coffee plants prefer bright, but indirect, light. This means that they should be placed near a window but not directly in the window itself. They also cannot take temperatures below freezing and will not do well in temperatures that stay consistently below 65 F. (18 C.). Keep them away from drafts in the winter. When growing coffee plants, the soil needs to stay moist, but not soaking wet. Also, make sure that both the soil and the pot your coffee plant is growing in has good drainage. The humidity around the plant will need to stay high as well. Setting your coffee plant on a water-filled pebble tray will help with humidity. Like many houseplants, a coffee plant will need less water in the winter than in the summer. The Monstera loves to be in the sun also.
It's beautiful sissel♥️ I guess apart from the other Korean apartment tours I have watched, yours is the best ♥️ Ur apartment radiates so much of positivity ♥️ continue to do so♥️much love
such a low price for such an amazing, spacious apartment im crying 😭norway could never anyway thank you for this video sissel! i got some inspo to redecorate and declutter my space 💚
Plants in general like lots of indirect sunlight but don't like direct sunlight! That's why your leaves burnt. Also the plant will start to sag when it's thirsty, so you know to water it! Otherwise, stick your finger in the soil and if it's wet, then it doesn't need water. Water when the soil is slightly damp but not wet. They're also tropical plants so like humidity, you could spray the leaves and topsoil every couple of days if you like!
i love this apartment so much. It feels so homey and welcoming, but at the same time very chic and styled which is a good thing. My european heart is thriving :)
Hello I like your video, love your place. a perfect size for me and my two doggies LOL. As for your plants, my mom told me once that the more brown leaves you have on a plant the more it takes nutrition from the healthy part of the plant so it's best just to cut off the dead leaves so that the Dead/ dried part of the plant don't take away from the live part of plant.

Such a fun house tour. I laughed so much omg. It's so so pretty and aesthetic
Giiirl. Put the coffee plant in the sun and try to put coffee (the one that stays on your coffee maker) on the pot. It may help your little plant
For the coffee plant what likely happening when you put it outside is leaf burn. The reason it sags and pops back up when you water it is because of it running out of water and wanting more. Brown tips can also be caused by a lack of humidity and using hard tap water rather than distilled.
I really think your new house is very very cute!! So happy that now u have found a place were u feel like home
