    Hi. Thank you for the idea with the crimp and large hole bead as a cover on the end. I tried your method and it worked wonderfully 😊
    The bracelet is just so beautiful ❤

    I really loved your training video, no fancy nail polish on to take away from the bracelet. Thanks.

    Pleasant video tutorial. Lovely bracelet. The finished piece is made elegantly. Audio instructions are easy to hear. However, the camera should be either placed or zoomed in a bit closer to what the instructor is showing so that the audience are able to follow exactly what is going on, along with the verbal steps.
    Overall, this video is informative and helpful.
    EDIT: Also noticed there weren't any details included within the description. Like bead sizes, what tools were used, etc.

      Very true too. Although many of those other videos are good, they do have a tendency to banter on and on. Meanwhile, you're left waiting for the point to be reached sooner rather than later. To come across a video that does get right to it Is a breath of fresh air.

    Great tutorial. I’m curious do any of these pieces (beads and do on) that you used tarnish or discolor?

    • @JANEEDISTURBED
      @JANEEDISTURBED 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello dgmlmax,
      I know it's been awhile since your post, and I know I'm not the creator of this video. But I thought I'd answer your question, since I do have an answer based on the knowledge I have to be able to give an answer. Unfortunately my answer is limited, and so I would not be able to fully answer your question because of that.
      Depending on what type of metal that is used to create the beads, crimps, clasps etc., determines whether or not discoloring and tarnishing will occur. So that brings me to an answer I cannot give you, which is in regards to the type of metal actually used for the aforementioned materials in question, and for the bracelet within this tutorial.
      But I can give you an idea as to what types of metal in jewelry making will or will not tarnish or discolor, and an idea as to why. For instance, *ALUMINUM*. It WILL NOT tarnish. Pure aluminum has a *clear protective layer* when exposed to oxygen so it won't tarnish, whereas aluminum alloys might. I personally have some of this type of aluminum, and it is also very shiny. Brass can also tarnish, but cleans up easily.
      Sterling Silver *WILL* unfortunately *TARNISH* because it is an alloy that is around 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals, to be exact. The other metals (like copper) oxidize with a person's skin or the air causing the sterling silver to tarnish, which is also why your skin will turn green when wearing anything made with it. Tibetan silver has a small amount of genuine silver within it. The other base metal mixed within can be any kind. Even tin. Tibetan has qualities that Sterling doesn't, and it doesn't tarnish. And unlike Genuine Silver, where you need to polish it up with a cloth and silver tarnish remover (or other natural home based methods), Tibetan only needs to be polished using a cloth, bringing out a nice shine.
      Genuine Silver (such as the 925) becomes black because of hydrogen sulfide (or sulfur), which is a substance that occurs in the air. When silver comes into contact with it, a chemical reaction happens and a black layer is formed. Silver oxidizes faster in places with a lot of light and high humidity.
      I do not know exactly what type of metal alloy the woman in this video used. She would be the one to answer that for you. That way you will definitely know whether or not those materials used will tarnish or discolor. I hope this has been somewhat helpful. I am sorry I couldn't fully give you the answers you were looking for. Stay safe and healthy. And have a wonderful day/night.
