    Love your work/designs so simple yet chic! Also really like how you explain, give measurements, sizes, etc, and at the same time the video moves right along, not too long & drawn out or anything. Awesome! Thx so much!!

    I love the long wrap bracelets but I like a magnetic clasp so I would do a ribbon crimp on both ends of the bracelet. Some of the magnet closures are really decorative and make it so easy to fasten

    • @bluescarlet5479
      @bluescarlet5479 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, I really like using magnetic closures also but, I'm trying to think about how I could incorporate one like your saying because ribbon clamps are not typically magnetic. Am I missing something? lol, If you could explain that would be great :-) Thanks...

      Hey there! : ) I see this is an "OLD" post but thought I would answer it in case someone else had the same question. Yes, you could use the same crimp ends, just put a jump ring on each end and then add each half of your magnetic clasp as usual. Have a nice weekend...((Hugs)) from Texas!! xx : )

    For everyone who is asking about the closure.... It took me a few times, but she says "make a simple double knot right here" pointing at the ring. (5:21)

    Sorry I do not fully show how to close the bracelet on the video - You simply tie a double knot at the ring once wrapped - Tie it snug or loose according to your preference - A bit challenging with one hand but worth it... Enjoy!

    @thecoopers11408 9 ปีที่แล้ว +14

    i love the bracelet but i would of liked to see you close it to see how it looks if its stable or loose i can't tell you only wrapped it around without pulling together it looks like it would just slip out.

      Jacie Cooper Hi - Thank you for watching the video - See my response above - Tie a double knot at the ring - Snug or tight - The pictures at the beginning of the video shows the bracelet snug on my wrist - Thank you!

    Ok. Here’s how I did. Made the short side as shown in the tutorial except for the ring I used the ring of a toggle clasp. When I made the long side I wrapped it around my wrist to measure where to put the bar of the clasp. Attached another crimp on the leather and made a short chain of three jump rings and the bar of the clasp. Added that to the ring of the crimp The chain of small links makes it easier to put the bar through the ring. Then I took 8” of cord, put a bead on each end, knotted each end and tied it to the toggle ring using a lark’s head knot. I think it looks pretty good. I was able to put one end of the leather through the small ring of the original design and tie it but it wasn’t easy. For my first wrap project I’m satisfied.

    It's adorable but having to tie and untie every single time is insane. Caft stores sell a "toggle clasp" that's just a small circle with a post that easily slips through. There's already a small ring in the design!

      Hi - Thank you for watching my video!! Yes I am still around @ MichouBeads - To close the bracelet after you wrap it, you tie a knot at the rings - no right or wrong way, just a simple double knot OR some of us simply tuck the cord as well - Click here to see the KIT I offer in my little beading shop, look at the photos that show the back of the wrist - Hope this helps :) Here's the link to the kit / photos www.etsy.com/listing/208612602/diy-kit-infinity-circle-charm-triple?ref=shop_home_active_1&pro=1

      @@michoubeads thank you. I ordered the kit. It looks like you tie it too itself after you put it on. I was thinking it would slip through the ring on the end. Silly me!

    • @michoubeads
      @michoubeads  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Simplelifepreps You're welcome and no worry, once you make the wrap and put it on, you will know how to attach it - you can insert 1 or both cords inside the ring and then tie a double know - loose or snug depending on the look you want (best snug above wrist bone) - Let me know how it works out - Take care :)

  • @updownstate

    I made this. The wraps don't stay going up my arm unless I strangle it. I'm thinking two rings attached into a figure 8 going up the arm with one wrap attached to each end and then wound would be a better way to give the 'climbing' look.

    Hi, you still anwering questions here? Love this bracelet. Just wondering. How many mm cord you use. I have 2 mm and wonering what innersize i should use of the pearls. Im afraid if i use 2mm it will be a bit loose. Should i use maybe 1,5mm?

    Hi
    Loved the bracelet . I too don't understand how to fasten . Does the double knot go through the small ring ? Does that keep it from slipping off ? Could you do the same bracelet with hemp ( using more strands I guess?)

      Hi Donna - Thank you for your compliment - I should have brought this up in the video - Yes, you use the end small ring to attach the 2 long cords - you either insert 1 cord and make a double knot or insert the 2 cords - Hope this helps

    • @kellyw.1779

      Hey Dianne! The beads are called 6mm metal spacer beads. I get all mine from Amazon in the stainless steel version so they don't turn. I love stainless!! Make sure to pay attention to the "inside" hole diameter. I use 3mm suede with the 6mm (outside diameter) x 2mm (inside) diameter beads. They work good because the beads don't slide up or down the cord, they stay in place. A tip...if you're having a problem getting the suede or cord inside the bead, cut the end of the cord on a "sharp angle" instead of just straight across! The beads come in all different sizes, go by the total mm size of your cord or suede to insure the cords will fit through the beads. Let me go to Amazon and see if I can find you a link and put it below. Hope this helps. Have a good weekend... ((hugs)) from Texas!! xx : )
